I see people around the forum looking for the "best faucet" or the "best faucet rotator" or something like that. By using a faucet, you are doing nothing but wasting your time and effort, all to make small fractions of a penny that you'll likely never get to spend since it's so miniscule. And I will tell you why right now.

Take one of the currently best paying faucets (at least that I know of), btcboom.xyz
Currently it pays 400 satoshi every 3 minutes. 3 minutes = 1/20 hour
This is equal to 8,000 satoshis/hour or 192,000 satoshis (0.00192 BTC)/day, assuming you keep going nonstop without losing any time between claims.

If you use a rotator with a few of these well paying faucets, you can probably triple or quadruple these earnings. Let's say quadruple, now you make 0.00768 BTC (768,000 satoshis) per day, once again, if you click nonstop while losing no time. We can make this more realistic and account for lost time by shaving at least off 90% of that, less than 1% for lost time between clicks such as solving captchas, and the rest is for whatever else you're doing during your day, which might still not be enough.

Let's say you have no life outside of your mom's basement and you don't have much else to do other than maybe helping out around the house and taking care of yourself, so maybe 90%, a good tenth of your entire day goes to this faucet rotator. (144 minutes (2h 24m) of claiming and waiting). You'll make approximately 76800 satoshis per day. This is around $0.43 per day by the current exchange rate ($577 USD/BTC). For nearly 2 and a half hours of constant claiming from faucets.

Now let's try a different, more realistic and common scenario. You've got a good amount of work to do for your school or job at your desk, plus you've got to maintain your house (or help maintain your house). You can easily take out 98%. You've got 28.8 minutes of constant claiming and waiting going towards this faucet rotator. You now make around 15360 satoshis per day. A whole 8.9 cents per day.

Basically, don't bother trying with faucets or even faucet rotators. You'll barely make any money and the little bits of money you do make, you won't be able to spend on anything since it's such a low amount. If I'm wrong about any of this stuff feel free to let me know.

My earning are at the moment around 2€/day from faucet and I don´t use single minute from my time for that.
So it is fully autopilot thing and I am happy with that. That day amount also going up little by little when I get more referrals.
But yeah, if you click yourself it is just time wasting.

This is true, but you still don't make very much money unless you get a ton of referrals and they are very active.

I agree and disagree, simply using a faucet without trying for referrals or an automated way of using the faucet then you'll make close to nothing. Myself, I have a dumb amount of referrals on some top faucets and automate my claims. Resulting in a very very decent daily income from faucets. The most I've earned in a day was 0.5 BTC.

The referral part is true, but the automated approach isn't really possible on any faucets because of captchas (except those with retarded admins that use an HTML checkbox or some stupid shit).

I make $1.50 every day doing nothing from my faucet. Auto betting, with a user edge, ez money.
Only requirement is I leave my pc/phone connected to the website :)

As far as faucets are concerned, no one should be so silly to do it manually. You must code a bot and add about 5000 faucets in it and let it run on a dozen RDPs or VPSs for a dozen different bitcoin addresses and wake up next day and see a nice profit of $50/day.

Some people are that silly, and I made this thread to hopefully talk some sense into them. The only way to make any money from faucets is to get a shit ton of referrals or as you said, to use a bot. As far as I know, no bot that supports a good amount of faucets exists.

I wrote a bot for a btc faucet that worked really well.
The problem is that we have those damn captchas. The bot I have works on a btc faucet using GeeTest. Geetest can be bypassed without the use of a solving service.

If somebody knows how to bypass reCaptcha without a solving service then I could write a bot with proxy list support that works on many faucets within a week. In another week I could have said bot up to 20+ faucets. It's insanely easy to write a bot for any bitcoin faucet but I haven't done it since there is no value in that without being able to bypass the human verification.

EDIT: If you know how to bypass reCaptcha and whatever-the-fuck that other captcha thing is called (drew a blank on the name of it just now) that is used on many faucets, then please PM me. Obviously solving the image programatically probably won't work, but perhaps there is an exploit?
