Endangered gorilla shot dead

I know certain animals don't have object permanence, and It's safe to assume a dog can't think up the concept: this human female is pregnant and will give birth because she smells different than a regular female.

Your argument is if you are pregnant an animal can smell you are pregnant.

My argument in counter to that is if you shit your pants, does that mean an animal can determine you are afraid?

The answer is no, one being because shitting your pants is probably a self defense mechanism to deter predators from eating you. The main being because animals unlike human beings cannot create complex conclusions such as someone shits their self out of fear. Instead they rely much more heavily on body language, which expresses much more effectively you are afraid or you are pregnant.

You clearly have a severe lack in understanding of what pheromones are, and what they do. I suggest brushing up on the topic before arguing with me.

So you are just ignorant.

Does your brain just stop here? Do you not have any reasoning for how life is able to sense pheromones? Through smell.

guess what I found out with a little bit of research?

http://antark.net/ant-life/ant-communica...heromones/

"Pheromones are detected at the tips of the ants super sensitive antennae"

https://www.quora.com/How-do-ants-sense-food

"The antennae of ants have hair-like sensilia that contain one or more sensory neurons. Most of the sensilia contain olfactory neurons. Each neuron sends a long nerve fiber through the antennal nerve that terminate in the antennal lobe of its brain. The axons from the olfactory neurons terminate in the lobe in globular structures called glomeruli. The antennal lobe of ants is particularly large and it has around 420-430 glomeruli. (A honey bee has 160). The more the glomeruli, the more variety of odors the ant can process. This provides for the acute smell sense of ants."

Conclusion: Ants smell pheromones, just like bees, humans... etc...

Do you misread and take EVERYTHING out of context? LOL. You're actually a joke, and your arguments are garbage... Where did I say pheromones weren't related to your sense of smell? I SAID IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT SMELL, IT'S ABOUT THE PHEROMONES, AND THE EFFECTS THEY HAVE ON BEHAVIOR. NOT EVERY SMELL IS A PHEROMONE. You're literally arguing FOR my point now... Do you not realize that? HOLY SHIT, you are hands down the most illiterate, LQ person on this forum. I understand your rep now. Good day, and welcome to ignore.

Thank you for elaborating. I apologize for not understanding your meaning, but at least through our discussion you began to understand why I am so negatively repped.

Ayee my local zoo.

Absolutely destroying my social media.

I haven't been there in a few years so I'm confused at how it even happened (well the gorilla being there, I haven't watched the video because I don't care, but the picture looks like the waterfall in front of the exhibit that cannot be reached by the gorillas).

If they didn't shoot and it hurt the kid "OMG why didn't they do something"
If they shoot and he doesn't do anything "OMG why did they do that"

And it's easy to blame the parents however I'd suggest reading the article written from the 911 caller who was standing next to the parents when it happened.
The gorilla was shot dead because some bitch couldn't take care and watch her kid.
And I'm just going to throw this out there, but I don't know about y'all niggas but dipping when my mother turned around was too easy.

that had some flow... Kid and dead I suppose. (you dont know what im talking about probably lol)

But liberally I got to point out, what if this was your kid. Would you freak out or not? I personally would jump down with the gorilla but hey it's your decision.
The zoo needs to be redesigned so something like that CAN NOT happen..

If the zoo did their part, nothing like this would happen. Simple enough.
Parents are fully responsible for such a careless behavior. Shame
That is awful. I feel bad for the gorilla. They had very few options considering most people value human lives over the gorilla's.

I saw the video and it seem lik the gorilla was not hurting the child

Idk why they didn't just tranquilize the gorilla
Good rather the gorilla be dead than the 3 year old mauled to death. some of u are sick putting that gorillas life over a fucking 3 year old. what if that was ur lil brother?
You guys never put yourselves in that perspective is what I believe.
If you were that little boy, you'd love for the gorilla to be shot because YOUR FUCKING LIFE IS IN DANGER.
