No Game No Life
Synopsis (Courtesy of MAL):
No Game No Life is a surreal comedy that follows Sora and Shiro, shut-in NEET siblings and the online gamer duo behind the legendary username "Kuuhaku." They view the real world as just another lousy game; however, a strange e-mail challenging them to a chess match changes everything—the brother and sister are plunged into an otherworldly realm where they meet Tet, the God of Games.
The mysterious god welcomes Sora and Shiro to Disboard, a world where all forms of conflict—from petty squabbles to the fate of whole countries—are settled not through war, but by way of high-stake games. This system works thanks to a fundamental rule wherein each party must wager something they deem to be of equal value to the other party's wager. In this strange land where the very idea of humanity is reduced to child’s play, the indifferent genius gamer duo of Sora and Shiro have finally found a real reason to keep playing games: to unite the sixteen races of Disboard, defeat Tet, and become the gods of this new, gaming-is-everything world.
I watched this show a few months back with a buddy of mine who had taken a liking to the anime. I found it to be a decent watch. For anyone looking for a pleasant visual experience this anime has some very nice animation and the art style is well done. The anime does try to focus a good effort on comedy, however it often does seem like typical humor situations and such scenes that could have easily seen more effort put into them.
The story was pretty straightforward, however one might find themselves constantly thrown into odd circumstances as intended by the creators. I myself am indifferent to the anime, but it was something to watch and I found it to be decent. Take a look into it yourselves if you haven't and see what you think of it ;)
For the sake of those who have not watched it yet, please use spoiler tags ty

What's really unfortunate is that a season 2 is highly unlikely due to the artist being found tracing (making slight adjustments to other artists sketches then coloring it in and calling it your own).
It was a pretty good anime though.

It was only the manga artist found tracing though afaik.
I like the anime very much but it has somewhat a cliffhanger ending which just gets everyone asking for a season 2.
But it is for sure worth the watch :)
The vibrant colours make this anime that much better. I'm so glad my friend recommended this to me a few years back.
I also enjoyed watching this anime. It's really unique. Background music also pretty good too. Graphics is not too good though. Can't wait to see what happens in season 2.
I can't say I thoroughly enjoyed this anime, but it was definitely a new taste and an enjoyable watch. I would give it a 8/10.
Good enough to make me want more, that's for sure.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER

what couldn't you understand about it?
I think it got too much hate (sure some of the incest-y scenes were cringy). I liked it.
Finished this in 2 days... like most Anime...
Anyways, it really gets your brain thinking and I can't help but think there's probably a loophole or two somewhere.
I'm hoping for a season 2, but like people say, its 'Madhouse'.
I don't think it's been canceled yet so there's a chance.
Same thing with Overlord.

I believe there will be a movie instead of a S2. Not entirely sure what they will do exactly however.
