Application Form
What are some of your skills?: Import/Export. Social-engineering. Sales, and more.
How can you contribute to the group?: I'm sure there will be plenty of ways. Knowledge is power. And I am sure there will be even more ways when I am part of it.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): It will be the first group that I have ever been in. I've been part of HF since 2008, registered myself in April 2009 and I have never felt the interest for a group before. I've seen this group around and it looks like something I would enjoy to be part of. So I have decided I wish to give it a try.
How much time can you devote towards group activities: Well I have more than enough time to spend.

Miscellaneous Questions (Required)
Name: Tommy
Age: 25
Country/State: Europe
In one paragraph, describe your personality: I'm an old soul. Really? Open minded.
Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: 8.5 (English is not my native language sadly).
What are some of your skills?:

I am very skilled in marketing. Every product I sell off HF and on HF comes with my great marketing skills which allow me to make more money than a mediocre seller. I'm experienced in DDoS and botnets. In fact, I run my own and run DDoS services off-site which obviously are very profitable for me.

How can you contribute to the group?:

I can contribute to the group by representing the ideal man on Hack Forums. I've made a lot of money on the internet and I always giveback to those who helped me out. I've donated boat loads to HF just because it has helped me gain some clients which made me money and I left them happy. I feel I can represent the group properly. Aside from that, I can also give free in-group competitions for awards and stuff. That way it benefits the forum and makes users happy. My services can be given cheaper to members too.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section):

I want to join because Nokia2mon2 inspired me. It's really nice to give back to HF. I've donated lots, and it makes me feel better than just hoarding money. I also want to join the group simply to meet people like-minded with me. People who want to learn more and expand with partnerships. I feel Red Lions will allow me to develop on HF. Honestly, I'd want it as my only group as it'd be the group I spend most of my time in. I hate having 10 groups. I like to dedicate myself to one group.

How much time can you devote towards group activities:

I can do a lot towards group activities. I've seen massive giveaways underneath the group, and I can easily run those for us. Hell, I can brand all mine under the group as this group is that respectable. I also have school though. I am very focused on that especially, but that won't halt my activity. I'll still be on here and there to conduct business and giveaways pretty oftently. But my forum browsing may decrease slightly.

Spoiler (Click to View)

I like to think of myself as a well-rounded individual when it comes to my skill set. I’m currently enrolled at -pm for uni- (more specifically the engineering college). My major is Computer Science and I may have a minor in math. Not exactly relevant, but, my average GPA is 3.4.

Technical skills/competencies
Programming experience – Java, C++, Python, Javascript, HTML, PHP, and server sided administration. (In the progress of becoming more skilled in these areas. I would say amateur to average level, depending on which programming language).

Miscellaneous skills
I was an audio engineer for one of the larger Baptist churches in the state of Oklahoma last summer, other than that I don’t have much intern work yet. I plan to study abroad the upcoming summer to polish up the ole resume before applying for larger internships.
I was the president of the Young Republicans organization at my high school along with being a member of DECA (http://www.deca.org/about/). In which my partner and I received 2nd place in state qualifying to go to nationals.
Writing abilities - Ability to efficiently create an organized development plan for just about any subject.
Languages and proficiency levels – English is my main language. I also took two years of Spanish, but I’m not very proficient.
A few of my other interests – Web development, network security, and data security.

How can you contribute to the group?:
Some of the perks of being involved in my communities have helped me grow as a person. I have been involved in multiple leadership programs (including the one at my high school) that have positively impacted my life. Hopefully, if I were to be accepted I could bring that to the table. The most important thing being involved and college have taught me is time management. I would love to get involved in numerous (HF) community-wide events that the Red Lions would hold. I can even help out with the organization of certain projects if that were a needed position. I don’t want to say one specific thing because I would love to help out with anything that needed attention. In my times of being HF, one of my more mentionable traits is my ability to market products. When I have something that needs marketing, I don’t think of it as just a product. If you truly want to have success in something you must treat that product as a part of yourself. My username, ‘iKinky’ is my brand. If you have a great product it doesn’t matter if your name or your organization has a shady past because no one will trust you or your organization. That is why how the public perceives you is truly important. Of course, you should be yourself and not put on a front for people, but that doesn’t mean scamming people or being a complete ass hole to others. With that being said, I would love to help contribute anything to the group’s overall image.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section):
One of the more cliche responses to start it off, I have always wanted to be a part of this group from the moment I joined Hackforums. Well, to be more specific I wanted to be Ub3r more than anything and then get into Red Lions. Like many of your other applicants, I have been around the block a few times with numerous groups. I will give what it takes to be a member of this group and to maintain a good image for the group. I would love to contribute anything I am able to prove my loyalty and dedication. Not to sound too arrogant, but I know that if I were to be accepted, you would not regret it.

How much time can you devote towards group activities:
Like I said above, I’m very good with time management. I really want to get back into the HF community again and I think this would be my perfect shot with this amazing group. This is the only group left that I have always wanted to be in, and I’m sure you hear that a lot. I have been in quite a few groups, but there is just something about this group and I would like to make it a home. I’m not just throwing out the false statement “I can contribute whatever”. I truly mean whatever I wrote above is what I will contribute, and however long that takes is however long it will take. So if I have to contribute 15 hours a week, so be it.

Name: Spencer
Age: 19

In one paragraph, describe your personality:
I am a very outgoing person and I hope you be able to see that. I like to live my life in a positive manner. Life is too short to dwell over simple things so I tend to not let things get me down. I would use one term to generalize my personality, laid back. I'm more outgoing in real life than I am online, for some reason. I get bored very easily so I like to take on projects or research various subjects. I am usually the guy who tries to lighten the mood. I'm not a guy who likes drama/conflict, but if a confrontation is needed, I will. I have developed a very hard work ethic and I am proud of that.

What are some of your skills?: Entrepreneur/Marketing, Data Analysing, Beginner Hacking, Social Engineering, Server management (Intermediate stuff), Social Media management, Forming & Maintaining bonds with people.

How can you contribute to the group?: I can contribute by maintaining the trustworthy reputation and image of the group. I will also help with any of the group activities/projects and hope to increase the activity even more than it is at the moment.

https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5242626

Would just like to add that, these threads aren't the only thing I have contributed to but those are pretty much the ones made by me.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Honestly, the first time I came to read about the groups on HF, I wasn't sure if they were really a good thing. I spent most of my time on HF staying in the shadows, lurking. But I realised after I joined my first group that things are done better when there is a whole team behind it who specialise in their respective field and all collectively work together to achieve a larger goal. I will definitely work towards collectively working for the betterment of the group and its already well-established reputation of providing high quality content. I do feel giveaways are good but they should benefit the right person and I don't like to publicise the donations I make just to make myself feel more established. I have made donations amounting to several thousand dollars over time, IRL and online as well. I have probably wasted more with gambling but I have now reduced it by much. I have always wanted to help users although I have not yet found the correct medium to do so. As a member of this forum, I have always felt helpless about the scams that occur everyday on the forum and me being unable to do much. I hope to change this in the near future and make the marketplace, a much better and safer place, for the users/members while abiding by the forum policies/rules. Vampire has given me a chance to apply and although, I have written a brief intro-kinda text about me, I don't suppose you can fully know me (or anybody for that matter) just from reading one post. I would like a chance to prove myself as a worthy addition to the group itself. And to end it, feel free to PM me in case of any queries.

How much time can you devote towards group activities: I can and will devote all of my online time towards group activities plus offline time if required.

Name: TheChief (You want my real name?)
Age: 16, Height- 6 ft 4 inch.
Country/State: India (I will PM the state if needed)
In one paragraph, describe your personality: I would say that I am a friendly and honest person who likes to bond with new people and maintain them. I am, at times, emotional as well which may result in a good/bad outcome depending upon the situation. I love doing teamwork and am not at all greedy/arrogant. I am the type of guy who likes to reach my goal after I set it, no matter what. I have learnt a lot of things during my time online, and one of them is that you never stop learning. Also, I am sorry for leaving this out before as I may have overlooked this part.
Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10:I would say 8.

In the end, I would just like to add that, I appreciate that you have taken the time to read through the application and your decision, whatever it may be, is accepted by me. Thank You!

You skipped the section altogether. I give you a 0/10 for following directions.

Everyone: Please don't elaborate on your grammar section if you're going to make mistakes, it only gives us a poor impression of you. There is absolutely no reason why you need to write anything other than X/10.

I'm not claiming to be perfect, but that's the one section you shouldn't be fucking up.

What are some of your skills?: My knowledge cover a wide panel of skills, like:
  • Profesional Web Application Developper (Microsoft Web Developper Certified) with the .NET Framework (ASP.NET / C#)
  • PHP Developper with great knowledge in OO and frameworks like Laravel
  • Design Patterns lover (which I tend to abuse of them)
  • Javascript development (mainly with Framework like AngularJS 1/2 and Backbone)
  • MongoDB Certified Expert
  • Project Management (Soon Scrum Master Certified)
  • And much more...
How can you contribute to the group?: I don't really know how I can be very useful for the group, but I am sure I can enhance even more (if it's possible) the reputation of the group by my activity in the coding section (like PHP, JS, Web development) and with my tutorials and explanation about complex things in some thread. I will also give my best to help anyone with their coding issues, no matter the languages since I'm pretty good for research and quick learning.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Since my registration on this board, I have always seen this group as one of the most HQ group on this board, and now that I have one friend inside the group, he confirmed my supposition. This group is filled with HQ members with a very good mentality and personality, not a common group where they are only lounge without any interest or just message where nobody read the previous message and just want to upgrade his post count.

I want to be a part of the most HQ members of this board and I want to be able to help everyone with a more credible situation, I really want to help to enhance the quality of this board and its community by my presence and my activity. This is the main reason of why I want to join you. Also, it would be very nice to find peoples who share the same mentality and behavior as me, and be able to exchange with them without any possible conflict!
How much time can you devote towards group activities: Since I'm a web developer, I'm all day long on the computer, I can be active for the group more than 8 hours a day.

What are some of your skills?: Here's a list;
  • VPN's (Virtual Private Networks)
  • Stressers
  • Gaming (Trouble shooting, modifying, set up, etc).
  • Mental Health Issues (Schizophrenia, Depression, Bi-Polar, Anxiety).
  • Apple Devices (iPhone's, iPad's, iPod's).
  • Social Engineering
  • Music (Instruments, programs, etc)
  • etc. (Pm me if you want to know more).

How can you contribute to the group?: I can give a lot of my free time (depending on my work schedule, that could vary) toward the group to help with giveaways, tutorials, run a mental health help desk in the groups name, or anything else that you could possibly need help with (even if I'm not that great at whatever it could be, I'm always wiling to give it a shot, or learn). Giveaway wise, I can probably donate some money, accounts, etc. Tutorials, I could write a few tutorials, or help other red lions member' that need help with their's.

Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Honestly, I've looked up to the group since the day Omni gave the group to Nokia. It's always been a group that I've seen as helpful to the community, even if it's just with donations (let's be realistic, when nokia and other members of the group come around and donate a large sum of cash to the site / omni, it helps with the servers, and the site itself. I mean if it wasn't for nokia a few years back, I don't think omni would have upgraded the sites servers right away, it probably wouldn't have for a few months or something). I would like to join, so that I can help bring some activity to the group, and help other members (even if they're members of the group). Also, I truly like the group.

How much time can you devote towards group activities: Honestly it depends on my work schedule and what country I am in at the time. If I'm in Canada and my work schedule is kind of slow, I could probably devote 20+ hours a week. If you're looking for a daily amount of time, I could probably do a couple hours a day/night.

In one paragraph, describe your personality: As you can tell from my posts, I can be extremely edgy & rude. I will not not deny that I am. I can admit that I'm very rude & edgy at times, but if you factor in my mental health issues (depression, schizophrenia and bi-polar), that is kind of expected. Other than the edginess & my rudeness, I'm a pretty out going, brutally honest, kind, funny. It just takes me a while to get used to people (that's usually why I seem incredibly rude or "edgy").

Sorry, but your grammar is definitely not a 10. I found too many problems to actually point out, but I advise that you revise your application.
What are some of your skills?:
Social Engineering, General knowledge of a wide range of current top cyber-security tools, JavaScript full stack development (front and back end), Mongo expertise. Intermediate / good "understanding" of Python, Ruby, Bash shell.
How can you contribute to the group?: I can help develop new tools for the group and review and add to the knowledge base. I'm sure I would be able to suggest revisions to things the group has already created providing helpful insight.
Links to any contributions(Giveaways do not count): My posts (on this site at least) haven't really been that notable. They are all good posts but they don't really demonstrate my true deep understanding. This does not mean I have little expertise. I do a lot of reading / working on stuff and have less time for HF contributions. If the group however has some task involving posting I could find time for this.
