So recently I spilled lemonade on my desk which ended up dripping onto my pc (stupid I know). Shut it off, cleaned it waited about 2 hours with a fan on it turned it back on and it worked. Then about 25 mins later it shut off and never turned on. The lemonade also splashed onto a part of my gpu but the fans turn on when it boots up so i'd assume that means its okay? So I got another MB which was compatible with my processor. Now i'm at my current problem with is turning on for a few secounds shutting off and then turning back on and continuing to run. But I get no power from my MB to the keyboard mouse or monitor. And I get no display from either my MB or my GPU. Can't seem to find any answers on google or YT that can help me, any advice is appreciated. Cheers
So i was able to get the issues fixed. Computer runs and works just fine and boots okay, now im not getting any response from USB ports whenever im NOT in BIOS. In BIOS everything works fine but when going to main windows screen, everything shuts off. I checked in the BIOS that my motherboard recognizes both mouse and keyboard but wont power it. Everything im finding on google is leading nowhere, any advice would be appreciated.
Maybe you have to install some port drivers if motherboard ports arn't working, but kinda hard to do that w/ not being able to use keyboard or mouse lol
yeah i guess you lack the usb drivers or mb-drivers ,aswell as mouse and keyboard if those are fancy ..
get the drivers first , then try again
Maybe I didn't make it clear enough, but I can't get any graphics to show up using either the gpu or just the MB. Not sure what is going on with that.
sry , must have missread this
so you dont get any graphics output at all ?
what happens if you use the motherboards gpu output , or dont you have an onboard-gpu?

No Graphic output at all, I do have a few slots on my MB for video if that's what you referring too by onboard-gpu. I have tried the MB with the GPU unplugged and still have the same issue. No power to mouse, keyboard, or any kind of monitor/TV.
I had this happen to me once, I disassembled my PC and left every individual part in a bag full of rice for over 24 hours. After I put it back together everything worked perfectly, mind you that spill was very big. Since then I now have my PC on my desk instead of under.
could either be still wet or allready oxidated ..
onboard-gpu means you have a weak gpu on your mb and an output aswell(hdmi/vga/..) try to plug it in there (guess you allready did)
do you have sound ? does it beep ?
does the cpu fan keep spinning or is it just starting and shuting down again ?
Computer boots and runs now but no usb power, mouse and keyboard work fine in BIOS but stop as soon as BIOS closes. Anyone have some advice

Onboard GPU ended years ago.
iGPU is integrated with the CPU.
Nothing to do with the motherboard.

Which motherboard do you have now?

Which CPU?
It's possible you need to update the BIOS, depending on the CPU...
Also try to find a cheap keyboard with a ps2 connector rather than the USB connector, sometimes they have issues.
Also I assume it's not the same model motherboard you had previously.

Previous motherboard was also a MSI here is my old MB, and here is my current. Was thinking about the ps2 connector keyboard and mouse, but how come my KB and mouse work on BIOS but not windows. Anyways ill try that tomorrow if not maybe reinstalling windows?

If you can get into bios the bios needed is p1.20 or higher if you want to confirm that.
Windows can be buggy with USB UID's I used to remember the reason but to be honest been drinking a bit tonight maybe Google your problem...

went down that route a few hours ago and havent had luck. Ill check the bios out and update
BIOS version is E7850IMS V5.9 Seems fine there kinda stumped myself, assuming its something driver related since its working in BIOS but then again if i knew something I wouldnt be here
