You know more about his situation than me, but since neither of us knows for sure what's going on let's just say Bullets keep going with the blackmail angle.

Are we really 100% sure that there was no way he could be extorted out of his account? What if he found his dox, or something that Regulus would never want the world to know about or he was threatening to swat him or expose something to his family? Would he give up his account then?

I know to you it probably seems like a 1% chance this would happen compared to the RAT case, but I think it's still possible that's how he got Regulus' account.

He's not a bad guy, and certainly wouldn't get blackmailed out of his account especially considering Bullets tried in the past.
All it takes is one person on his skype contacts to get compromised and then to send an "update" to a program/file for testing. People trust that shit and get infected by it and Regulus is a trusting guy.

I'm just going to post what I put over there, onto here as to avoid confusion around 2fa security for the average user.

If you use Authy it's quite easy to use the google chrome add on and login with your google account. It's also not impossible to hijack his browsing session to avoid 2fa all together especially if the person was infected with a RAT.

You do need a master password for Authy but seeing as you are infected, the "attacker" shouldn't find it too hard to find the average persons master pw.

You can always tell it's Bullets, he is known as a currency exchange scammer. He always tries to buy peoples accounts, if they refuse he ends up coming on and ratting people etc.

He always fails and uses same "method" of trying to get thousands and says he won't go first etc. It's pretty obvious when its him.

I wasn't sure who he was at first but this pretty much explains it. I heard he's a known scammer/account buyer and a lot of people told me this was his work again. Might even be tied to the one posted here a while ago involving Root and some other members.
