We do not consider DWC (Deal With Caution) reputations abuse by itself. We consider it good advice for all members in all situations when doing deals.

Well people should not use the forum as a medium to scam others. If there is a dispute between me and a fellow I should be able to go to his sales thread and leave a warning so others will deal carefully.

No, you shouldn't. Because you can create a Deal Dispute thread, leave them a proper reputation, and add an entry into the Deal Dispute Database.

Do you believe you should also be able to PM all his clients, post in all their threads, and create community alerts? I don't care what you believe. We have policy. I will not allow you to harass a member you're having a deal dispute with. We have proper measures which are reasonable.

Seen this happen loads of times. I'm glad this is finally getting some attention. Just because you agree a member was scammed does not give you the right to post scammer on someones profile.
