It's a waste of time. For it to be worth it anymore you need thousands of dollars worth of hardware.
A GTX 1070FE will get you about $1.50ETH in one day. However, anyone with a card that high end is going to notice that something up when it's running at max 24/7.

Not really worth it in my experience. I tried this a few years ago, probably made 0.8 BTC total, and this was over a very extended period of time.
I saw a suggestion somewhere else on here earlier. Think of other ways to get Bitcoins if that is what you're after. You can do work for people and have them pay you in Bitcoins, or sell something (maybe video game items?) and be paid in Bitcoins.

RATS and crypto mining is useless tbh.
This is probably the best advice you are going to get OP.
mining with the clients on your RAT will not be worth it, not Bitcoin, not any other cryptocoin. (unless you've got tousands of clients maybe, but still not worth the trouble).
even if you did have a massive database of clients, for eg 5k. It wouldnt be worth it as half of your clients wouldnt have good internet or good equipment.
Bitcoin mining with common hardware is always a bad idea. But there are still some coins you can profit from. Right now a great option is Monero, no asic mining currently exists and gpu mining offers very little advantage over cpu mining, making it an ok option to mass mine with common cpus.
