Hello users, I have an easy task that anyone on here can do in just a few minutes (or less). If you do it right, I will pay you $2 via PayPal.
However, you must complete the job correctly. I'm working with some people to improve some machine vision technology, which needs to be tested thoroughly on dozens of different types of homes. What this means is, we require pictures of houses, like public homes. No apartments, no private property or business buildings.
The job is very simple. All you need is access to a good camera (like your phone, if it's less than 4 years old). Your job is to take several pictures of your house exterior from the outside. Do not use any sophisticated expensive technology for this, your smart phone or a regular camera is ideal. You will need about 20 pictures, to make sure you capture the entire exterior. So take a picture of the front, walk a few steps to the side, take a picture, few more steps, etc. until you have captured the exterior in a circle. Exact distance between each picture is not important but be educated with your guess. Do not include the street name, house number, people's pictures, cars, etc. No personal information is needed, we just want the OUTSIDE of the house. Again, you don't have to go inside either.
Make sure the house is well lit (don't do it at night time), and if one area is shaded, that's fine. Don't bother with flash. Here is one example below of how the pictures would look.

The sides are a little tricky with less room to take a full picture. Just make sure to get the whole side in 2-3 pictures if it's not visible in 1 picture.

When you have your 20 or so pictures ready, please email them to this address, and write your HF username or Paypal address in the email subject line. Once we confirm it will work, you'll get paid. I will try to make it as fast as possible, and no one will be skipped.

In case you are worried about something, the images will not be put anywhere online or used anywhere publicly. It is merely for the database that is used for our testing. Again, no personal information will be needed nor used, and if you leave some in, it will most likely get blurred out.
Note: We need more houses in certain areas than others, so please tell me where you live in the U.S. before you start doing any, if you plan to do a lot of them.
