Rule

Proxy Selling Allowed

The policy that disallowed proxy selling (selling for a non-member, not upgraded, or one that's banned) is no longer disallowed. The entire policy was designed to remove sales of banned members in SST. Since we no longer have the SST forum I am removing the rule.

New policy is written as this:
Quote:Can I sell for other members?
Yes, we allow partnerships with non-members. If you're selling for an existing member you both cannot advertise the same service or product.

Thank you.
Sounds like a good change for the Marketplace.

I'm like a crushed light bulb, all out of shine.
I'm so scared of the future so I stay stuck, broken in to pieces and my spirit's all taped up.

Awesome, thanks for letting us know.
I wanted few weeks ago proxies and couldn't find, will be useful in the feature.

Not proxies. Selling for a member that can't post in the marketplace

Edit: I wanted proxies a few weeks ago and couldn't find them. Will be useful in the future.*
Give me a hug! <3

You didn't properly understand what I typed.

Proxy Selling - The act of selling for someone else.
I never thought this would ever be allowed tbh.
Interesting update.
I only do deals onsite through PM's/Contracts.
I do not use Discord, or Skype, or talk to members offsite whatsoever.
Ah. Neat update. Many people will for sure appreciate this.

Interesting update.

It was seriously though only added because of SST. So there isn't a real reason for me to enforce it anymore. It's something that's difficult to enforce site-wide. It's really not even worth doing so.

This site is complex and one change can easily create a ripple effect of other changes.
Glad to see you updating rules based on the removal of SST. The closing of some resources opens the door to others.

This is a nice change, time to look for partnerships :D

I never even knew that it was solely for that.
Thought it was to avoid ban evading POS's, etc.

Thanks.

This is a really cool update tbh. I didn't think this would be allowed.

Also, didn't know it was only because SST section.

Good to hear, thank you.

There hasn't really been a word about it for a long time, but in a few threads from 2014 Omniscient explains why.

Omni, a great step forward for the marketplace. Thanks.
(I guess you saw the thread where I was arguing with Soulmate?)

They were mostly doing it for SST. The section required Ub3r so often they'd find a dupe partner to do their sales after I banned them. They also tried to use partners for Paypal holding. The whole thing has always been a problem and that's why I separated it and that's why it's now gone permanently.
