SEO? I use adsense I think. I am still trying to figure out how to sort all the revenue sharing stuff out. I have no clue what im doing and Im honestly thing of just joining a partnership network to make everything easier but $2 and I can have my video played as an add???????!!! Really?
Social media.... also use popular trending tags under your videos and that will boost the views, just pray some of the views stick around
I heard posting your channel on decently sized forums will get you some traffic

Thank you! by commenting on other peoples channels do you mean literally just commenting or promoting?
I don't have much knowledge with YouTube, but there isn't a way to promote your videos/channel directly through YT, similar to Facebook?
(I promote several FB pages, that's why I'm curious haha)
Be a girl, show breasts - boom several million subs incoming.

Ye Adsense us the best way to monetize your videos. Networks are basically the same bit then you get linked to their AdSense account and then the network takes a percentage of your Money 20% for example.
Yes, you can have a video ad for a few bucks daily. It won't show much but a few interested people seeing your ad would definitely check out your channel. You just have to target your ad precisely.

Not really. You can comment on videos, when you post a good comment people get led to your channel. I done it before where I had a top comment and then saw increased activity. That channel is ded now though, but still probably gets attention.

Brian Dean from Backlinko has some really great tips on SEO'ing YouTube videos. Check it out here: http://backlinko.com/how-to-rank-youtube-videos
The guy is an SEO guru and I have learnt an awful lot from him. I used his skyscraper technique on a website I was developing and it really did work very well. I don't make YouTube videos but I've got a lot of faith in this guy. Hope the guide helps you as much as they've helped me 🙂

I would recommend not being a vlogger when you don't have anything interesting to show. People like Roman Atwood get away with staying home and vlogging with nothing interesting to show on some days because they had a huge following before they started vlogging. It's pretty hard to become a successful vlogger when your vlogs consist of cooking an egg, a time lapse of pushups, and talking to your brother. It's not interesting. Sorry. If you do it just for the fun of it, then go ahead and keep doing it, but if you're looking to make YouTube a career, you're not going to have success with the quality of content you currently put out.
EDIT: Watched your "CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES" video, and that is a decent one, but its really short. You should make more vlogs with that type of atmosphere but more of it if you want to become a successful vlogger.
Not bad videos dude. Keep it up. Don't do it as a career now or you will try to hard and end up failing. Do it as fun/hobby and if it picks up it picks up.
