I don't have a problem with girls to have fun with, if you get what I mean. But I have another problem - once I get a girl I've been trying to get, I get BORED and just stop talking to them. There's girl that are really nice that I try to avoid because I can see that they are trying to flirt or whatever but I've passed the stage of wanting that and I just feel disgusted and cringed by them.

I'm 17 and sex and shit like that ain't a problem finding but I want a girlfriend, because I've been so caught up in just fucking around with girls and have never actually had a relationship (someone I call girlfriend and actually have feelings for). Maybe because I am so picky? I don't know. I feel like I need the perfect girl that is basically the girl version of me, but with more loyalty, lol.

What should I do, if I can do something?
Has anyone else experienced/is experiencing this? If so what was the outcome etc.

I was always told that love finds you not the other way around. Time will tell friend. Plus you're only 17 and I know that's hard to deal with but it's true. Most girls your age probably aren't even looking for something to last.

I think I've been way to picky as well, but something I realized is that you can't tell if a girl is perfect for you without getting to know her. When you date someone you build memories and become very close to her. It's only after that when you will know.

You need to just take a chance and start dating someone. I actually met a girl at work that I'm interested in. We'll see where this goes.

Me too. I used to say who needs a real relationship and scoff at people who actually got into long term relationships, but now i'm beginning to feel like there is something to it.

It takes more hard work, but I think it pays off way more than a one night or short term at the end of the day.

I understand what you mean, but the way I think of it is this: If a girl is that easy to get into bed, there's no way she's the right girl for me lol.

Thanks for all replies. It seems I'm on and off in these feelings, there's times where I feel depressed because I want a relationship then there's times I just want to sleep with a girl. I guess it fits into one. I'd rather a girlfriend that can be my friend then just a toy, if you get what I mean.
