Armada posted a community alert about us being impersonated almos two weeks ago..
I'm new here, cut me some slack. But it's the last time I'll be on these forums as clearly it's not worth the headaches. No offense to you Cryptic - but I'm out. Can someone with some actual hacking skill deal with these impersonators though?
(Dec 4, 2016 02:00 AM)xjath Wrote: I can share emails, over 100 emails of me going back and fourth and something didn't add up. But since Cryptic was a trusted member I went against my instincts. I apologize for the accusation Cryptic, and I understand that I'm not getting my money back. Keon was impersonating me sending emails to Cryptic asking for services. He was also impersonating you Cryptic, emailing me.
Well that sucks, and whoever is the scammer has really stepped up the game.
They really took scamming to a whole new level.
This is why I always advise everyone to only do deals on site. So that everything is well documented on site.

My emails are @crypticvpn.com or other domains I own.
Yeah we figured that out, Keon was impersonating 'xJath' emailing 'Cryptic'. While Keon was also impersonating 'Cryptic' emailing 'xJath'. It is complicated but makes sense once you break all of the evidence down. I have already gotten proof that the bitcoin address he sent the money to is linked to this Keon user and that the email is linked to the Jarvis user.

Yeah me too, xJath will have to open up another deal dispute for these two users below.
Original Account ( Impersonated Armada and Cryptic ): Jarvis Ai
Current Account ( Linked From Bitcoin Address ): Keon
This is all just messed up mumble jumble that just should not have happened.
Also Cryptic, why am I on your ignore list?

Not sure, probably because of something that happened a very long time ago that I don't remember.
Removed.

I've PMd Omni with the two accounts, the new one will probably be closed once he reads it since he closed his other account a few days ago after Armada posted the community alert.
It sucks the guy got away with a scam...but it's crazy to see how much effort, planning and time some people will put in just to scam a couple hundred bucks.
It's kinda like how some people spend tons of hours figuring out how to cheat on their tests, whereas if they spent all those hours studying they'd have no reason to cheat, and stress less.

Exactly this, it would be nice if Omniscient released the users registration ip address.
Everybody on HackForums should read this thread, I have no idea how people can have such bad morales to scam somebody like this.

Can't the find a way to ban these people from joining again? HWID ban or something?
Also, anyway to sticky this post? Like shit, people need to see this so I'm the last victim here.

Nope, websites can't get your HWID, and even if they did, it's not hard to spoof those.
Scammers and ban evaders tend to use proxies and other things to make them seem like a completely different person. The only way to find out their a multi is if they slip up by either using an IP of their other accounts or posting something on site like a skype or btc address that was used by another account.
Holy fuck this is some next level shit.
I will make sure to only deal onsite.
I don't even use Skype anymore so that's good.
Thanks for the alert Cryptic!

Yeah imagine trying to figure everything out. It took a good four hours just for us to fully understand what actually took place. I will definitely be bumping these threads daily to keep everyone aware of this new type of scam!
