Simple response: I use a shared VPN that uses a pool of users to relay off of.

No, only specific VPNs are blocked. I can't find the quote currently, but omni once said he doesn't care if people use VPNs, but if theres trouble arising from that specific VPN; then he'll block it.

I don't see why you need to be on a VPN on a forum, not like a member is going to hack the database just to grab your IP, unless... you're hiding something.

The same reason 90% of the population of people who use VPNs use them for; Privacy. Why do you have blinds on your house, if you're not doing anything bad? For privacy of course. Just because you want privacy, doesn't imply that you're doing anything corrupt.
