The old reviewers group was garbage. They cared about design and what they perceived as originality more than practicality, application and execution.

A review is worthless if the reviewer doesn't full understand what they're reviewing, as was the case more often than not. Legitimate vouches from sales is what really matters.

I agree with what you stated about a review being pointless if the reviewer has no idea about what they are speaking about. That'd be an issue for the group if it was to be created. If I were to recruit people that have a vast amount of knowledge in each scene, then it would led to better reviews. If nobody in then group has knowledge on a given thread's topic, then we would have to simply opt out the opportunity to review it; even in the case that the OP offered a copy to the group to review it, we would not accept it.

If sellers are willing to work with the group, I can see this going very far.

I spoke to a few eBook sellers and marketplace sellers on here, you know some people go on leaked eBook sites and take old eBooks that used to be HF over 2 years ago and just give them a new title, they then go onto their btc or paypal and inspect element, ask a couple friends to inspect element their money as well and there you have a best selling product, same thing with ratings - they'll get their friend to give it a 5* rating.


I queried as to why premium sellers section has eBooks and was told I'd get destroyed by Omni if I was to question it.

I believe it's not a good idea to have a Reviewers group as it can be abused by a few sellers who might have friends in the group which will in turn only make it worse for consumers as most reviews will be biased. Additionally it's only a way of getting free copies while not doing much to improve the marketplace.

There used to be an official HF group called "Reviewers."
It eventually turned into a circle jerk of idiocy and corruption.

It is my money, so I may do what I want with it.
I want to purchase a usergroup regardless of what I do with it. This was an idea of mine of what I would want to do. Also, money is not everything in life... You can't pretend as if it is or is it will dominate your life.

Also, Omniscient is probably fully aware of this now. He read a PM I sent to him earlier.
Although he did not respond, I know for a fact he looked into my account. There is something that I noticed that he did to my account, but I will not go into specific details.

I think HF should hire special staff members that will check each product. Before they post the thread the staffs need to approve it.
