I created this thread after thinking about this: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id53601664
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1 of 2 - How do you think the marketplace should be improved?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently, since returning to Hackforums, I have noticed that many people have been complaining that the eBooks they purchase do not work. Listen, the problem about selling SHIT to customers is that it hurts the entire marketplace. After someone spends money an eBook and see that it does not work, they will never buy another one and may not bother buying any products whatsoever. Think about if close to everyone, the majority, made money off of the eBooks being sold. The customers would purchase more and the marketplace on this forum would have a better reputation. This new, better reputation would help spread how many people consider buying (this could also boost membership on the forums too).
Perhaps there should be an enforcement of some sorts. I honestly like the idea of a marketplace violation for selling an eBook or product that clearly does not work, for it is scamming without boldly stating it.
Despite this idea, I am not sure how it would be proven that an eBook clearly does not work, and there is also the issue of enforcement. I personally do not think staff have time to read these reports and enforce any rule when it comes to this. There are some cases where the eBooks do work, but eventually becomes saturated or stops working for another reason, so it is hard to say if someone knows that they are 'scamming'. Quite frankly, and it sad to state, but I do not see the marketplace improving significantly. Those who pay money for an eBook are 'gambling' in a sense.
Do you have any solutions/suggestions? What do you think about the marketplace and what can be done?
Put some actual thought into this. Please do not state something half-assed or idiotic (I.E "Market is shit //Discussion"). I am certain there are threads like this from the past, but this is something I believe in strongly; the marketplace does need a fix, and brainstorming will help come up with a solution.

Part 2 of 2 - Bringing Back "Reviewers"

(Need to get Omni's approval to own a usergroup first)
In case you do not know what Reviewers was, please take the time to read this page:

This is what I would want, but the group would NOT be officially a part of the HF team. We would be a small group of HQ users that give honest reviews, that's all. The group would not be in it for profit; maybe I should make a rule within the group that it is not permitted to have certain sale threads. Of course, this would include my own sale threads.
Other posts of mine in this thread in regards of Reviewers (Read them if you want to know everything):

Interesting idea... I will begin collecting money and think about this more in-depth while doing so.

Which I really doubt will happen. It was a much better place when they were around. None could possibly ever think of bullshitting people with their non working methods.

The Red Lions attempted to do a very, very similar thing as the Reviewers, but it was not successful as members did not find them trustworthy enough to receive free products. After hearing that the Red Lions were not trusted enough, I highly doubt that this idea would be successful if put into action. I still desire to own a usergroup one of these days, but my idea of revising and remaking the Reviewers has now been reconsidered as I do not see a bright future for it. That being said, this thread has served it's purpose.
I appreciate each and every reply that I have received on this thread. It has been great to see other members ideas on how to fix the marketplace. Perhaps one day some of those ideas will be implemented into Hackforums. Once again, thank you everyone.
This thread is closed now.

Start your own forum where you can vouch for products. On HF we are not going to get involved.
Unreal. So you think it's an idea you like but you have no idea how it will work. That makes you a moron.
RKO'd.
I read more of your crap I'll end up closing your account.
End of discussion.
