Just say something like, how are you going to get the ticket to me blah blah because he cant print it and if he says he'll mail it to you say something like what if it doesn't get here in time it'll be a waste of money

Yeah, find a reason to give you the money, or if you think he's a timewaster tell him to fuck off.

Maybe use family as an excuse tell them they will be suspicious if they dont come with you to buy it,
or you could act crazy telling him he doesnt trust you enough to send you the money and he expects
you to trust him to go or something crazy like that

I think you need to provide a name when you buy plane tickets.

Tell him your ID is under a different last name that you use your dads last name on your id and the last name you use on sites and stuff is your step dad's. That you won't be able to use the ticket he buys you. And you don't feel comfortable giving him your last name on your ID.
