First off, Dont do black hatting, it's just plain stupid and gives you prison time.

Here is my advice as i was told.

Learn hardware & networking and Understand it WELL! When i first Joined and was asking around for help, most of the advices that came my way was "Learn how to program".

Well, yes do learn how to program! But be sure to understand How hardware and networking functions first(if you wanna be a white hat and a black hat as well). I can give you this advice because thats the advice i got and the advice that i took to me(and the fact that its really good advice :P) Now im a by no means L33T HACKER, im in fact very new to hacking. And i have made many stupid posts on here(please dont look them up!) But i am trying the hardest to "UnSkid" my self and im well on my way to becomeing a Ethical hacker(also known as a whitehat). I do not do ANY sort of black hat activities, however i respect the black hatters... after all, if there where non, white hats would be out of a job :P.

We white hats learn from black hats, and visa versa, its like Jing and Jang, one cannot exist whitout the other...
