What do you guys think?
This way, if an account without 2FA enabled on it, gets hacked, he won't be able to scam.

Yeah thats a problem too. Imo, 2FA should be required to access HF. But a lot of people are stupid. (Jan 22, 2017 07:22 AM)Uploader.sx Wrote: Yeah thats a problem too. Exactly. Since the universe and human stupidity is infinite, I do not think the ramification of this implementation would be a fruitful one. kitty had a snack

Unfortunately yes, a lot of people are indeed stupid and lose access because they're too incompetent to take care of such things properly. There are some exceptions who actually get their phones stolen etc. When there was thought that HF was compromised months ago, Omni send a pm to all users to activate 2FA. He also wanted to add a plugin so only 2FA enabled accounts are able to post in the marketplace and send pm's I found the thread where he mentioned that : https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5258345 I feel like 2Fa should be enabled if you want to make use of the marketplace. Period. Omniscient Wrote:I am going to add a plugin which will now require 2FA to post in the Marketplace or to send a PM if you have an upgraded account with 2FA/Gauth access. I have also altered the setting for the minimum character length of a password from 10 to 12 characters. In the future that should slow down any decrypting of hashed passwords in case of a dump.
scamming can never be stopped honestly, so either make ur research before dealing with someone or just use a mm, as simple as that
