Hello HF, hopped onto runescape (rs3 newest version) couple days ago.
I had played RS back in 2004 as a kid for a little, wasn't very into it so the new game doesn't hurt as much. But I do enjoy the old school feel of a kid. Anyways decided to stick with RS3 since it has more to learn.
Any beginner tips for farming a little gold would be much appreciated if not any tips from y'all is still a blessing.
Here are my stats
F2P (non membership)
Fishing Level 61
Cooking level 60
Woodcutting 42
Melee 40
defense 40
Range 37
Consitution 42
Mining 3 - lol
Thanks for helping.
Main objective is to enjoy the gold farm. I wanna get into the Grand Exhange game but clueless what to auction.
Been GEing Herringer fishes ATM but I sell them for default price when I drop it in GE
Which is around 60gold per raw fish. I'm not sure if it's lower than Market price cause I didn't check which I should had haha. Sold quickly though
Oppotunities come and go, its up to you to take it or not.

Glad to see another RS3 player with a head on his shoulders. Don't let the neckbeards in this section talk you into playing OSRS.
So first and foremost I recommend that you buy membership. Don't bother trying to earn gold in-game for it because free to play is so limited. The best option for free players is harvesting cursed energy and that is risky to do with the amount of pkers. So much more of the game is open to you with membership, moneymaking especially.
But the thing about moneymaking is what kind of methods you'll prefer doing. There are a plethora of detailed YouTube videos for this very topic that will help you get some ideas. Most methods include either combat, skilling, gathering, or merching. So really you just have to decide what kind of player you want to be right now and how long you want to do it. I can tell you though that combat, bossing specifically, is the best consistent GP/HR.
Anyway just remember to not overload yourself. Lots of people hate on the game because they feel overloaded. Take it one step at a time and you'll progress.

Lol such a douchebag..
@OP, I prefer RS3 as well! There's so much more to do and learn. However, the PvP is definitely less active. So.. There's that downside. PM me for specific details. I'm on HF a lot and I'm still a moderately-active RS3 player.
Edit: I would certainly get into the merching game. Watch some tutorials and stuff and practice with low-value items. You won't lose as much while getting used to the process. But other than that, you'll be able to learn how to efficiently get yourself nice profits. Mining is probably the most profitable gathering skill for F2P other than Cursed Energy.

Thanks a lot. I'll check out merching
