What Is Doxing?

search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent. The word "dox" is slang for "documents", doxing is basically finding information about somebody, such as an address, phone number, full name, etc.

Template

Methods Of Doxing

Every single person you dox will be doxed differently, as you will have a different amount of information on each target. Through this tutorial I will go through multiply ways to dox someone using different scenarios.

Skype

Usually when you are doxing somebody you will have the targets Skype. Some skype resolvers still work such as: http://resolver.c99.nl/ but they're not as good as they once were. You can also find old IPs for your target, this can be helpful because if they have a static IP you will most likely find them in a database.I will not go through how to collect databases but I'm sure you can find some if you use Google.

Another reason for Skype being useful is because you can DEOB them over Skype, DEOB is a new way of getting someones current IP Address here is a nice tutorial on it: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...light=DEOB

One other way you can use Skype to your advantage is by using Google, Google is your best friend when it comes to doxing. Simply put this into google ( site:hackforums.net "skypename" "Skype" ) this will give you a list of results where the user has posted his Skype, through this you will find other alias's.

Alias

When you are doxing someone you'll have an alias (a name) for example mine would be "Notorious". Using your targets alias, simply google his/her name, once you've looked through everything you can begin to use Google Dorks and start using the same commands as you did for the Skype. You can also search the alias in your databases, If you don't have any databases I'm sure you can find a database searching service on HF.

IP Address

IP Address's can be very helpful when you're doxing your target. Whatever way you got the targets IP Address, if it was through Skype, clicked on an IP Logger or joined your server, etc. You can simply go to this site: "http://www.ip-tracker.org/" and enter the IP Address, it will show you the area and the ISP of the target. You can search up the hostname/IP on "who.is" and it will show if the target has a website, if the target does you'll likely to have his/her's address and contact details if they don't have privacy protection.

Another way an IP Address can be helpful is by inserting it into this site: "http://www.iplocationtools.com/" Simply add "Their IP.html" on the end of the URL. Then if they are from the US and it's their current IP it will show you their ZIP Code, this can be helpful if you need to confirm the information you found so far.

Email Address

An email address can be one of the most helpful pieces of information you'll find on a target. You can usually get their email from Google Dorks or from a database. Once you have the targets email open Skype and enter the email address into the search bar, if a result comes up it means that account uses the email you entered. If nothing comes up it means that the email address is not associated with any Skype account. Similar to Skype, you can use the same method for Facebook; make sure you're logged into Facebook and enter their email address into Facebook, if a profile comes up that is the email address used for that account. You now have their full name!

Phone Number

A phone number can be very helpful, you can use multiple sites to gain information from the phone number

Full Name

If you have the targets full name you can use websites to search his/her name. If the target is under 18 years old you will probably not find anything on them using websites like Whitepages, you will have to use their parent's name. However, you can still search their name on Facebook, Skype, etc. Here is a list of websites you can use to search names:

As I mentioned earlier if the person has a website without Who.is protection, they are likely going to be very easy to dox.
