Professor K - 7 Years

Where the fuck do I begin.

So I joined HF 7 years and around 2 weeks ago. All I can say is wow, what a community we have built here. Honestly, being a part of something is important for anyone in life. Religion, Progressive movements, and club-like interaction has an important part in developing a person's perspective and values. HF has show me the dark and bright side of the world and how we can all gain and utilize things that can be used for bad and good.

I've been brought together with 3 other guys from HF who I now own various businesses with in the greater Seattle area. I've traveled countries with these guys, I've made thousands of dollars with them, and I've gained 3 brothers. I can't be thankful enough for the kind of intellectualism that prospers in this community. Those who make money, those who can hack, those who can program. We all learn from each other, we all build each other up.

The marketplace is nothing short of amazing, I'm close friends with people who have made 500k~+ from HF utilizing marketing opportunities and providing users with needed services. We prosper together and learn together, that is so important in any community.

We are protective of our own, for that I am thankful. I made my first 100k from HF. I've built my first successful business here. I learned how to program at a level high enough to compete at a top 3 university and blow my colleagues out of the water. At any point in time I could go pick up a job making 120k~+ a year at a desk because tech giants beg for people with the competency that can be learned here in a matter of months.

We have law, we have order, we are together and for that I'll never leave this community. I've built friends and a life here of sorts. I run the longest standing service and can say I've never let the community down.

As far as you go Omniscient I know it can get tough. Clearly you could sell the community and go live on a fucking boat in the keys. That would be easy. I think the reason we've gotten along so well and never butted heads is because you respect rigor and believe just because it's easy doesn't meant it's the right path. (Still a little salty you didn't let me run HackerCraft though).

All of these things have had a huge part in making me the man I am today. This community is the equivalent of guys I played sports with or any other group venture in life. I consider you all friends and will never turn away someone who wants to learn. This forum grants us an opportunity to learn and be taught skills that could place you in an income bracket high above your peers as long as you contribute.

Thank you for the opportunities you have given me Hackforums, looking forward to signing my son up one day.
