3 years, 4 months and counting ... UPDATE: Now 5 years and 7 months

The beginning:

I don't remember why I joined HF. Most likely, I wanted to hack Zynga poker chips. Not sure though.
I registered on 05-11-2009. 3 years ago. I started to read threads, post sometimes and that lasted until I joined my first group, The Reviewers. (I got ub3r before that of course)

Being a reviewer:

It was a big achievement to join a group in the past, let alone joining a group that has site objectives. There were no paid groups back then. I think there were only a few groups: The Alliance, Reviewers, ... some others were removed by Omniscient later ... DC Inc? Not sure.
Anyway, I passed my trials on there and became a fledged reviewer. It was great. After a few months, I was promoted to a leader. I was so happy back then and I was really active. I did a great job. I resigned after 1 year then got promoted once again. I helped Omniscient with the new system (premium section). Then a few months ago, I decided to resign and stay as a normal reviewer. I gave this group all what I could; Paradoxum, Skill and some others can say if this is true or not. (I was kicked 2 days ago, will explain why later)

Marketplace:

HF has one of the best marketplaces ever. There are no limits. People bank thousands every month selling stuff there. There are some restrictions but all in all it's great. In the past, I used to sell e-books and re-sell products such as crypters, keyloggers and stressers. It was a great experience and I made some nice cash. Later on, due to competition and lack of time, I stopped selling stuff and decided to do some small currency exchanges. This is what I'm doing right now.

Becoming Mentor:

This was one of the best things that happened to me on HF. As you all know, mentors are picked by Omniscient. Therefore, becoming a mentor shows that Omniscient kind of sees that you're doing something good for the community. Your job is to help keep HF clean. Mentors don't have permissions like Staff, but they can junk threads in forums they moderate. Yeah, so I used to junk spammed threads, delete posts, answer questions, and help members.

Losing Mentor and Reviewer:

Okay.. I don't want to depress you, but this was really bad. Losing all what you've achieved for being in the wrong position and timing sucks.
Like I said earlier, I'm currently exchanging e-currencies. I was a middleman between two parties. Exchanging LR to PP. $235 to $170 (I guess). The first party sent the LR to my account, the other party then sent the PP money to the first party. After verifying everything, I sent the LR to the second party without taking any fee. :)
After a few weeks, I woke up and find a scam report on me with many PMs, I was like WTF is going on? Scam Report . Cryptic did send me a PM but I didn't read it because I was sleeping (different time zones). You know the guys on HF, they started posting "mentors are now scamming", "can't trust anyone on HF", etc.. Omniscient had to reply and close the thread, remove me from Mentors and Reviewer. I posted this thread to explain everything. While the decision seems unfair, it was the best decision IMHO. I had the self-pity first, but now I'm trying to get over it. It terribly sucks though.

Shootouts:

First off, I'd like to thank Omniscient for keeping HF alive. HF is not a simple forum, it's a whole community. You can do whatever you want here. Omniscient has a lot on his plate everyday and he deals with a hell of problems. We should all thank him for that.
Members that I like and would like to thank: Omniscient, Factor8, Skill, Paradoxum, Sir, Joey Tribbiani, Crow, Positive, Judge Dredd,
I know there are more but I will update this later. :)

UPDATE: After 2 years and 3 months. A total of 5 years and 7 months.

It's so amazing that time flies away very very fast. I still remember these days as if it was yesterday. I'm still here. Browsing threads and posting sometimes. I lost all my reputation but that's okay. I'm sure many members still trust me and I thank you for that. If anyone needs a friend, I'm a PM away.
It's very unfortunate it happened to you. :( You were a great mentor. You should have told me someone else was making that payment for you, then I wouldn't have made that scam report right away.

Other than that, your feed back is good and well structured.
Sad to see you get removed from Reviewers as-well as Mentor.
You were good at both.

Hope we can still talk as we have in the past.
After personally reviewing things that went down between you and that other member OP, he should have waited for you to come online before making a report about it. Things get settled IRL by having a calm discussion before police are involved; the same principle applies here.

It sucks you lost your mentor status. I haven't personally met you yet, but I have seen you around and you're a good guy. I understand why Omni took it away, and I hope it was only temporary.

Stand tall soldier. A soldier without his gun is still a soldier; uphold our rules and enforce our HQ ethics even without your shiny badge. :)

I waited around an hour hoping -BoodyE- would get online, and then when the other party escalated the dispute to to a claim, I opened the dispute.

Thanks for this Phobix. Of course, I won't turn into a LQ member as I don't know how to do it. 🙂

I understand this and you were looking out for your own well being. I respect that. I still feel you should have waited for an official word from him first.

Again, my opinion. He wouldn't throw his 3 year + account away (and mentor status) for a couple hundred dollars.

Nice feedback. I feel sorry that you lose reviewer and mentor though :/

True. But let's just end the discussion about this report. 🙂
Sad to hear that you got removed from Mentor, you were a great one.
other than that great feedback thread.
I do not condone illegal activities.
It seems that everyone here is just going to talk about you losing your mentor & reviewers status and although it was terrible sad, I'd rather focus on the positive things you've done here. I say great job for all you'v done for the reviewers and I know you are very well respected here, good job! I'd also like to say that you made this thread look fantastic and it has an awesome flow when reading.

He was just removed for security reasons.

Boody, have you contacted Omni?
Great feedback, I'm glad you've been enjoying yourself and contribution to the forum. 3 years and 4 months that's a long time! Let's hope the next 3 years and 4 months are even more exciting!

I did PM him. Not going to tell what he said though. It's his sole decision and I accept anything.

Thank you. Hopefully the next years will be more exciting.
This was a great read, I've followed your report. It sucks that you've been removed permanently though.
