Bitcoin value at all time high
For a few months now bitcoin has been rising in value and having an occasional fallback. This week bitcoin has broken the previous all time high record, which was $1,242 on 29 November 2013. As of today bitcoin's worth is around $1,270,- and rising. The future of the coin looks promising and many suspect it will keep rising for the foreseeable future..>>Source

Interview - David Haller (Click to View)

---

bοxxy: Hello David Haller and welcome to the 333 edition of the Hack Forums news. Before we begin, would you like to give any shout outs?
David Haller: Hi :) yeah to Cameron and Career :) And to my members of MightyAssassins!

bοxxy: That's what's up. You're relatively new here, what exactly brought you here to the forums?
David Haller: I have been member on the forum since 2010, but I was not very active because my English was very bad at that time. I was spending time on the french forums. Two years ago I moved to USA, so as soon as my English was improved I was back to here. I am really out-going person, so I am open to new people, skills connected to communications (helping, talking, sharing experiences) and all hacking things. I knew this hacking forum was place to share my interests with others and that was the reason why I came back.

bοxxy: Ah, where did you move from exactly? Also, how has the forum changed over time from when you first joined to when you first came back?
David Haller: I moved from France, miss the country <3. All I could remember is the weird design and all the illegal stuff on here. It was really blackhat!

bοxxy: Ah, France. What interests and hobbies do you have that keep you here and involved with the community today?
David Haller: I already kind of responded to this question, but basically this community is not like another one. Its something special going on here. People are very helpful, even if not everybody sees it. I'm someone who wants to help people that are young and motivated.

bοxxy: What kind of goals do you have set for yourself, and where do you see yourself succeeding in life?
David Haller: I am working on the big project, it connects with technology and I understood that this is my passion for now and the future, in a few years I see myself as a person who does something that I really love, and Hack Forums is the place where I can find people with the same interests and hobbies so I can improve my skills and meet people who are interested in programming and games, and these topics are my favorite to talk about.

bοxxy: I see. So tell me, why David Haller as a name?
David Haller: The new TV show of Marvel and FX on Hulu, LEGION. A great series, with the same producer of Fargo. In a few months it will be very famous. I also loved the character/personage.

bοxxy: I personally haven't started watching it yet, but I've heard good things. I see you're in Torque(great group by the way). Have you been in any other groups since your stay here?
David Haller: No, not really. By the way, I own a gaming subforum password protected in Torque group. Which is working great! I have more amazing plans for it, so if you like playing games you can post in the recruitment thread ! (Small ad :p)

bοxxy: I've met a bunch of people here and games with them. What kind of games are you into? And of course, PC or console?
David Haller: I've been playing games for almost 12 years. I'm playing all my games on PC, I can't aim on xbox/ps because of the controller. I only playing Fifa on my Xbox One. I play mainly CS:GO, Overwatch and The Witcher 3 mainly, but I'm always looking/playing new games.

bοxxy: Ah, haven't gotten to The Witcher 3 yet. :P CS:GO is pretty big here especially. A few more things before we wrap this one up. What are some things you like/dislike here on Hack Forums as either a site/community/etc.?
David Haller: I hate eBooks! It's a hacking forum but everybody is selling books. I understand that is helping Omni to pay the servers but it should be limited at one point. Except that everything is perfect! This is the reason that I already have 1k posts and I'm not ready to leave the forum. I would love to see more giveaway awards from Omni too, because at this time it's pretty hard to get some of them, you really need to prove it that you are worth to get one. I'm sure you going to see me here in 10 years. Maybe one day Admin, who knows ;)

bοxxy: Not personally a fan of money making eBooks myself, although there are some good instructional eBooks. We all know the "Make $1 million a day for $19.99" eBooks are complete bs. Anyways, is there anything else you'd like to add before we complete this interview?
David Haller: I would like to thank the staff, the writers team, the Torque group members, the MightyAssassins members. And I hope I'll stay for a long time here and see the forum evolve! Thank you Hackforums a lot ! Love you all ;) (love you my gf too)

Apple Leak Reveals Massive, Expensive New iPhone
The iPhone 8, or 'iPhone X' as some claim it's going to be called, plans to launch three configurations of iPhone in 2017. Two of this configurations are said to be incremental updates of iPhone versions 7S and 7S Plus, and provide a new design with an OLED display that measures 5.8 inches. Claims made by Ming-Chi Kuo say that this model will exceed the cost in excess of $1,000. The LED display and overall size of the iPhone would make it the largest smartphone to date, though the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will change that. Only 5.15 inches would be usable on the phone, due to the rest of the space needed for function area.

Mind-Reading Robot Can Tell From Your Brainwaves When It's Made A Mistake
Researchers from MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory have released footage of a self proclaimed mind-reading robot, which uses the brain activity from an electroencephalography (EEG) monitor to predict if someone has made a mistake. The robot takes the data from the EEG monitor and adjusts its behaviour within milliseconds of accessing the data. Daniela Rus added that all you have to do is agree or disagree with the robot's actions for it to detect a change in mistaken brain activity. Although the system is only rigged to handle simple binary-choice activities, the team are very optimistic and dedicated to try and further discover new applications. >>Source

Razer Keyboard Gets New Switches
Razer's most popular gaming keyboard, the Razer Blackwidow will be introducing a brand new key switch option. The yellow switches. The newest edition to the Blackwidow family, the Blackwidow V2 will have a padded wrist rest that is attachable to the keyboard to comfort your gaming or internet browsing needs. Unlike the first version of the Blackwidow, the "wrist pad" is large in size allowing more comfort for your hands when resting up on the keyboard. Believe it or not, but the price will be remaining the same price as its very first model at a price of $169 dollars. With that being said, you are practically getting the wrist rest for free! Pictures and features of the new keyboard can be found on the official Razer website or by clicking the link here. In this specific keyboard, you can choose from orange, yellow, or green switches. Taken from Forbes, "The Yellow switch sports a "linear and silent design and reduced travel distance" to allow you to press keys even faster than before. Razer is, of course, gearing this new switch towards their fanbase that lives on FPS and MOBA games; but for a touch typist like myself who can bang out 85-90 wpm when he gets going, fast keystrokes are a blessing." Nintendo Switch is Here!
The wait is finally over the Nintendo Switch is here. Some people were lucky to get it without pre-order, while others got the chance to walk in, pay for their pre-order and walk out. Depending on if you were a pre-order purchaser or not, the games that are available on the new console is a small list, but the most popular one would probably have to be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is the second most streamed game on game streaming website, Twitch.tv. The list of games you can choose from are:

• 1-2-Switch

• Human Resource Machine

• I Am Setsuna

• Just Dance 2017

• The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

• Little Inferno

• Skylanders: Imaginators

• Snipperclips - Cut it out, together!

Riot awarded $10 million in Lawsuit Settlement
Going all the way back to August of last year, Riot has had a feud with popular scripting or botting website, LeagueSharp. As a result, Riot had started a lawsuit on the website which describes LeagueSharp as, “a tool for League of Legends which allows the user to inject assemblies or so called LoL scripts into the game." LeagueSharp was pretty popular in the scripting community and many people even on Hack Forums were looking for accounts so that they could use these cheats. The issue was brought to court where Riot states LeagueSharp is "gamebreaking". The settlement allowed Riot games to take the website so that its operations can no longer be continued, as well as being awarded $10 million from the sales that the website has received over the years active. Do you believe that is too much money? >>Source

New GTA Online Roadmap
Plan to be released sometime around this month, Rockstar Games has outlined its latest projects that will be coming to Grand Theft Auto: Online. In 2016, Rockstar Games was rockin' out (no pun intended) in their studios dishing out new content for its gamers to play and with that being said, 2017 might be the year they go all out as well. Brand new vehicles, weapons, and missions will be introduced sometime this year allowing players to get back and involved in the action the GTA community loves. Some things to take note is the implementation of an illegal arms trade, dodgeball, and weaponized vehicles. At the current time, not that much information is known. >>Source
