The Hack Forums Wiki is looking for able and creative journalists and Flaggers to research and write regarding specific information with adherence to certain criteria.

This recruitment will be open for a limited time.
Now is the time to be a Writer/journalists/Flagger for the Hack Forum wiki team.

It is advised to either PM me Nuworld or Viral Dragon or neeuQ regarding any questions about this recruitment or the Wiki in general.

RECRUITMENT DETAILS

This recruitment will be a bit more relaxed as previous recruitment's threads.

1) The first stage Is where an applicant submits his application in this thread.

2) The second stage is where the applicant is in consideration, Said applicant will be notified by PM.

3) The third stage is where an applicant's vocabulary and grammar expertise is put to the test. This stage will be conducted by myself and or one of my Hack Forum editors team members.

As much as we try to give everyone carte blanche in their duties, being a journalist/Flagger though has its own rules and stipulations. The basics of them are:

• Knowing how to draw, understand and act according to the borderline of seriousness and having fun.
  
• Having a sense of professionalism when writing an article, especially from a third person's point of view.
  
• Knowing how to adjust an article's foundation at critical moments (objective to subjective [and vice versa], etc)
  
• Knowing the basics of writing an article.
  

Members who do not receive a PM from me and or from a Wiki editor in 48 hours are automatically assumed to fail in a certain stage and thus fail in passing the recruitment. This only applies to applicants who have passed stage 1 and are expecting a reply from me or Wiki editor when they are in stage 2/3.

Having Gauth enabled is a must. No exceptions.
You must have 0% warnings on your account.
You must have a Google account that can be used for the Wiki Team.

I work part time, 2-3 days tops, so asides from those days, depending on how much work is requested of me I'll always devote a few days to getting it done ASAP.
When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?:
I've always presumed myself to be a powerful writer, yet my greatest weakness with writing would have to be my tendencies to use less modern/more traditional dialect in official writing pieces (such as "alas", "thus" etc.), and much more modern dialect in unofficial writing (such as "lit", "aye", "lmao") (which tends to be extremely misleading and contracting to those who read texts from me and also read my essays for college).
Have you ever written for another team/group/purpose? If yes, please state who the group in interest is:
As a part of my previous high school's student council, I assisted with the writing of our school papers and editing/proof reading, as well as ensuring the content was intriguing enough to attract hormone-ridden teenager's attentions.

No, I'm just coming back from inactivity (due to transferring to a new college and new field and whole new lifestyle), now I just need some stability like this to tie me down and ensure I don't go anywhere.

When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?: The only weakness I have is making blatant mistakes, due to not proof reading my work, but I've been reading over things I write and rarely make mistakes.
Have you ever written for another team/group/purpose? If yes, please state who the group in interest is: I've never written for any other group in the past. I have written some Ebooks in my time and a few tutorials / guides.

How many hours can you dedicate to your task at hand throughout the whole week? Describe where possible: Throughout an entire week, I can dedicate around 10 hours, mainly in the evenings. This includes Monday, Friday, and the weekend. I am at class for most of the day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday so I would be unable to dedicate time on those days.
When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?: one strength of mine in the English language is my ability to write creatively, I am able to think about the task at hand and write about it in a manner that attracts the reader and is intriguing. One weakness of mine is that I at times have minor difficulty writing in writing extensively, however I more often that not overcome that weakness.
Have you ever written for another team/group/purpose? If yes, please state who the group in interest is: I was formerly a proofreader for The Writ3rs. I have also written for gaming communities, such as updating their web pages with new information and writing new posts for new games and technology that has been coming out. Unforutnyl the gaming communities in question have shut down so I can't reference my work.
Do you have a platform on where you can write large paragraphs comfortably?: Yes, I am able to use word and other word processors.
Are you comfortable with doing the research required for writing the article yourself?: I am able to research extensively into the articles at hand and ensure that I only get the most accurate and relevant information.
