The Hack Forums Wiki Team is looking for able and creative Journalists and Flaggers to research and write regarding specific information with adherence and coherence to certain criteria.

This recruitment will be open for a limited time.

Recruitment Information:

• 1) The first stage is where an applicant submits his application in this thread.
  
  2) The second stage is where the applicant is in consideration, and said applicant will be notified by PM.
  
  3) The third stage is where an applicant's vocabulary and grammar skills are put to the test. This stage will be conducted by myself and/or one of my Hack Forums editors from my team.

As much as we try to give everyone carte blanche in their duties, being a Journalist/Flagger has its own rules and stipulations. The essentials are:

• Knowing how to draw, understand and act according to the borderline of seriousness and having fun.
  
• Having a sense of professionalism when writing an article, especially from a third person's point of view.
  
• Knowing how to adjust an article's foundation at critical moments (objective to subjective [and vice versa], etc)
  
• Knowing the basics of writing an article.
  

Members who do not receive a PM from Nuworld, illuminati▲, and/or from a Wiki Editor in 48 hours are automatically assumed to fail in a certain stage and thus fail in passing the recruitment. This only applies to applicants who have passed stage 1 and are expecting a reply from Nuworld, illuminati▲, or Wiki Editor when they are in stage 2/3.
If you are accepted, you will be put on two week probation. Meaning failure to complete your assignments on time, or break any of our rules, you'll be removed indefinitely.

As many hours as it takes to complete. I'm open everyday until classes start, then I'm open throughout most the week. If you truly wish to see my schedule, I can supply on demand.

When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?:
I honestly don't see any. I've taken more English classes than I would like, including Honors English, AP English, and AP Composition.

Have you ever written for another team/group/purpose? If yes, please state who the group in interest is:
Yes. I spent some time in the Writ3rs a few years ago, before I left due to time constraints.

Do you have a platform on where you can write large paragraphs comfortably?:
Yes. As I said, I've taken a massive amount of English classes, so a basic writing program is needed.

Are you comfortable with doing the research required for writing the article yourself?:
Yes. The last time I was actually supplied with any information used for writing, was when I was a freshmen in high school. So I'm used to finding information for topics and research.

Do you see yourself going inactive anytime soon?:
In the coming months, as my classes start back up at the end of next month. Although I don't find that relevant to this, as those only take up a few days of the week.

How many hours can you dedicate to your task at hand throughout the whole week? Describe where possible: It depends by week, once school starts up I won't be as active as I am now but I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed for my assignments.

When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?: My flaws are far more in structure than in grammar. Sometimes I continue sentences too long, run ons are generally my only problem. However, I believe that my writing flow through sentences and paragraphs is exceptional, I've attended private school and taken honors classes throughout my entire schooling career to perfect that.

Have you ever written for another team/group/purpose? If yes, please state who the group in interest is: My writing credentials are so far only through school work, I can provide examples of some of my papers if you'd like.

Do you have a platform on where you can write large paragraphs comfortably?: Yes, I use Google Docs for all my writing assignments.

Are you comfortable with doing the research required for writing the article yourself?: Yes I am. I love doing research and compiling data and information into articles.

Average 2 hours per day. Sometimes more, but should not be less than total of 14 hours per week.

English is my native language and I have experience writing through the college level. I feel as if I have a high standard of communicating my writing topics thoroughly and effectively, while concise. I am no Shakespeare, but I don't feel as if I have any notable 'weaknesses'.

I'm on HF every day, and I can allocate a minimum of perhaps five hours a day on average. As I have just completed a university degree, I have much more time to spare for the next ~6 months, as I'm on holidays. Holidays aside, I'm often on HF daily.

When it comes to writing in the English language, what is one strength and weakness you typically see throughout your writing?:
I would like to think my writing is exceptional. I put a lot of effort into my writing no matter where I am, whether it be posting on forums or simply conversing over IM. My posts strongly reflect this. So, I'm personally unable to uncover any faults I may have. Of course, I'm always happy to receive positive criticism.

- I can dedicate around 1-4 hours a day depending on my work and school schedules.

- I tend to take pride in my writing skills and while I may have the occasional error or two I am quick to fix them. I enjoy having proper grammar on and off site. The occasional troll post might not be properly formatted but other post are! As Steve has said I am open to criticism about this subject!
