Probably. Eventually I hope all of HF's main basic functions to be API available so that complete mobile apps can be created.

It's not something that would added to current API calls. It's just not vital information required for a mobile app to work effectively. But maybe I just need to think on it more.

Even multiple keys per account will likely happen. So you could potentially give your mobile app a key as well something else. I imagine that having your API Key IP locked would make for a good entry into the Trust Scan.

Would it be possible to add an IP range for those with dynamic IP's? It would be nice to just add my ISP's ranges and block others.

For the last 2 weeks I've been looking into a system for push notifications and quick replies like that. Since we only have read access, I can only get as far as sending a Notificafion with the PM title and who it's from. And when you open the notification, it opens a link in chrome.

Until we get write access, that's the best that'll happen.

I like it. I'm right there with you though, I think the HF API is the next big jump for HF.

Would you consider implementing application Keys as well?
That way if a certain application was deemed harmful, rather than put out a warning and hope people don't use it, you simply kill that app ID?

Wouldn't you need to completely change the way the API works though? Or no? I'm not very good at these things so most of these questions are for me to learn from.
