I read a theory earlier and there has been a lot of subtle hints of it being Future Barry, the one that went missing. The theory basically concluded that Future Barry lost his mind to the Speed Force which may have resulted in Eobard Thawne losing his family to Future Barry, one of the key points of evidence being that Thawne mentioned Future Barry took everything from him; Being later revealed at the end of Legends of Tomorrow that Thawne's "everything" was his family.

This theory is pretty sound when you think of it as a whole. I am pretty convinced by it.

On the other hand, season 3 was all about Savitar's identity.

I think it because Savitar is more focused on the Flash team as a whole and doesn't bring civilians into the scenes. Almost like he still has morals.

I think he is trying to ruin Barry's life so he can exist in the future.

I read it somewhere that Barry time traveled so many times that it messed up the timeline way more than it should have. So now future Barry wants the present Barry dead for the better good.

Future Barry was an obvious guess but my friend and I vetoed it for that reason, so we were kind of disappointed but they'll definitely recover, always do. Now, he's responsible for her death?!

I feel like the show can sometimes be very cheesy and is way too pg-13 imo.
Overall, it's a good show to watch, lot's of epic moments, and great storylines, but they just stretch the season for too long.

Regardless, Flash has been my favorite superhero during my childhood so that's why I watch the tv-show.
