INTRO
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recently turned 20 years old. Because of this, I decided to make this thread and give some overall feedback on HF and my experience on here the past year.
I'll be giving some feedback on sections I am actively posting in, users I am/have interacted with a lot over the past year and other things that come to mind. I hope you have a good time reading this thread.

GENERAL FEEDBACK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hack Forums has always been a fun place for me. Back when I joined in late 2013 (which is a little under 4 years ago today) I was mostly a lurker, I didn't post much and was pretty much nothing more than a lurker. Even back then I can still remember reading loads of interesting threads and guides on topics I was very much interested in.
Fast forward to 2017, I can actually hardly believe how everything turned out to be. Especially this past year has been an amazing journey for me. I released my first program on HF, became even more active than the year before and met so many new people on this forum.
This year I was also lucky enough to be granted my second and third sticky man awards by Omniscient. Thanks for all the positive feedback I got on the threads I made, more content is on its way!
Other than that it's exactly one year ago today that I was accepted into the writ3rs team for the HF-News. I have had a blast with all of you guys already and I'm sure we will have loads more together!

SECTION FEEDBACK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rules, Announcements, News and Feedback
This is honestly one of the sections I enjoy reading the most. There are actually a lot of users with great ideas and threads in here.
Although it is true that a lot of the threads being made here are about questions/suggestions that have been made before, I do enjoy reading through as people are sharing their idea's for the site, giving feedback on it and just interacting with each other with HF itself as the topic.
HF News
I have always loved to read the HF news threads. Mostly because of the fact that it actually does right by its name, it's news about HF, the site which has basically become my hobby over the years. One year ago today I became part of the team that works on and publishes the news each week and it's been a blast working with all the other members within the WRIT3R team.
The Lounge
Who doesn't know the lounge? If there's anything you want to discuss or just share with HF this is the place to do it. Although there are some LQ threads here and there, the fact that you can interact with any user on this website within this section is pretty cool. I have met loads of interesting people in this section and had a lot of good times browsing it.
The Marketplace
Damn, not sure what I should say about this section. It's not necessarily one of my favorite sections on this forum, but since I became active within it I did meet loads of enthusiastic and interesting people so that's great! I actually did not realize how actively the marketplace was being used by new users and older ones alike. Definitely an interesting section.
Crypto Currency
I actually love this section. It's awesome that the section became more and more active over the course of the past year. Discussing crypto currencies and sharing opinions about them with other users on this forum has been something I have really enjoyed, especially lately. I hope this will get an even bigger presence on HF in the future. I'm sure it will, as the year of crypto currencies is here, or almost here.
Notorious
This isn't a public forum but it's still something I want to quickly give some credit, as I had a blast talking to the very professional and knowledgeable persons inside of Notorious. They actually managed to teach me a thing or two about pentesting and crypto currencies, which was awesome. Other than that the people within the group have all been very nice and I look forward to more good times with you guys in the future!

MEMBER FEEDBACK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here I am going to give some feedback to members I have interacted with or come across on this forum. If you're on this list I think you've done an amazing job on this forum!
- Omniscient - I have to start with you. You are the person behind HF. without you it would never have been what it is today and I think you deserve massive respect for that. I know it's not always easy to run this forum but I hope you'll continue to do so for many years to come. When people say you don't care about HF I'm always able to quickly prove them wrong as you are constantly working to improve the website, the latest being the implementation of the API. Thanks for putting up with everything and keep up the great work!
- Minimalist - To be 100% honest I wasn't a big fan of you but that completely turned around the past year. You've done an exemplary job as staff and you're actually a pretty nice dude! Keep up the good work. (PS, remember when you said ETH would never reach $100 about a year ago? It's over $250 right now so yea.. in your face :p)
- Eagle 95 - You are my GOTO staff member for a reason. You're a very knowledgeable person and no matter how busy you are, you're always able to help and being nice about it. You are doing an awesome job as a staff member, keep up the good work!
- iHydra - I've been part of HF News for a year now, thanks to you. You are doing a great job running the WRIT3RS team, so keep it up!

- TheChief - You are a very interesting guy. Always nice and determined to get things working. I know things haven't really been easy recently but cheer up, it'll definitely get better soon! You've done a great job with Notorious and I'm very happy you allowed me to help you lead it!
- Views - I didn't really interact with you until very recently but damn you are one chill dude. I have a blast everytime we talk and reminisce about stuff and I hope we will have lots more talks in the future!
- The Unknown Coder - Not sure why I didn't add you to this list in the first place. You have helped me out a shit ton the past year and are without a doubt one of the coolest people I have met so far. Keep it in your pants noob :p
Above are the users I wanted to specifically write something about. Below I am going to make a list with shout outs to other members I have interacted with in one way or another.
- Steve - You're a great guy, keep it up!
- Roytoy - One of the nicer guys on HF.
