Thinking about it further, the motivation/drive aspect is built during a child's youth so I guess so. I guess it has to do with how people are raised, idk.

Some people who have no other option but to succeed (eventually) will do all it takes. It's amazing what circumstance can do to one (mentally) (Jun 25, 2017 10:57 PM)Mr.Peanut Wrote: It can be developed at any age though. I think you're thinking about mental discipline. Thanks for clarifying, I like the perspective you pointed out.

I hate to say it but it's the truth. My 10th grade Alg 2 teacher said I'd be a sandwich artist. I'm 19 and I'm making more money than he is (legally). I'm 19, he was like 45. I'm just getting started. (Jun 25, 2017 10:55 PM)Underworldproblem Wrote: Thinking about it further, the motivation/drive aspect is built during a child's youth so I guess so. I think parents should teach their kids to be driven/motivated but more importantly to be trained to be disciplined. If money is all one chases, they may very well be unhappy at the end of their road. Creativity/Drive/Motivation usually comes from a passion. Not saying any passion will get you rich and do well but it's usually a solid balance of being happy and making enough if not extra. Because you can still do what you'd like without it being a profession I presume. I'm happy that business is an actual passion I have. It's not just the unlimited 'potential' of money but I mean even the discussions, the black & white books that are hundreds of pages, those 1-2 hour podcasts, etc. (Jun 25, 2017 08:13 AM)fabio19674 Wrote: You see the thing is that i feel i won't work as someone who needs this diploma,I'm not interested in working whole day for some money i consider those people prostitutes of the system So what exactly is your plan to support yourself in life then? Despite what most people say, Dropping out of high school is not the end of the world. I dropped out of high school in grade 11. But I also went and enrolled in College and got a Degree in Networking. After you have post secondary education, no employer gives a damn about High school. However, on that note, without a education, you can expect to be likely making minimum wage, and likely in a job you are going to hate. There is no substitute to looking out for your own future. But the harsh reality is that without money you're nothing in this world. Although, doing something you enjoy while getting paid for it is just the cherry on the top. I did, my credits were behind so I could either re-do my 11th grade year while my peers graduated (even though somehow my ID and other things classified me as a Senior), or I could of dropped out & not fall behind a year (for something that would have no merit assuming I would've got my GED and finished College).
It's highschool, get throught it so you atleast have a diploma
