[Lookin] [UID=3308493] Fake Contest / Running away with group members' donations

(Jul 9, 2017 03:13 PM)Grizzlies Wrote:  Yeah I get it. But if the money isn't returned, you can always message me[I am offering for my own will]

You're offering to pay a debt from a member who was slagging you off?
Jesus. Your heart is pure gold.
Well when he gets kicked outta the group, why would he want to give the funds back?

He could get closed for creating a fake contest so it would be a good idea to give the funds back.

Also Lookin was proxy selling a method in which I bought, turned out to not to be allowed on Hackforums so he refunded me.
Give me 10 bytes for a rep.

If you're working in retail and you have keys to unlock the warehouse then you get fired, you're expected to give the keys back and not keep them.

Same goes for lookin, people donated to the group not to him personally, he was simply holding the funds for the group. Since he is no longer with the group he should be giving the funds back or at the very least complete the giveaways.

Exactly.

We should have send the funds to you instead of Lookin. I don't understand how we made a mistake like this.

Your problem here is you assume everyone is on that maturity level. Before removing him it should have been discussed as to how to go about getting the funds prior to his removal. That way he wouldn't have a chance to get salty about it and keep the donations as he might have done.

No, I am offering to pay members that didn't receive what was supposed to be delivered.

And I never had a relationship with this member at all. I was going to buy a group and have him as leader [crypto group], well I guessed right on my business term not to deal with someone like this.
Why am I not surprised? He faked his earnings to scam people. Just look through his negative reputation, he claims to be friends with CEO of poloniex and random shit 🤣 Poloniex even denied everything he claimed about them, he was saying they exchanged his coins in his behalf and CEO emails users and buys coins of them for 20% less than market bullshit.

I mean he claims he has $600,000, yet he scams people for $150 ? Even users that have $5,000 wouldn't scam for a mere $150...

OP, add this to dealdispute database, before he scams other users for thousands of dollars -> https://hackforums.net/disputedb.php

Also, he paid for the domain/hosting-service which are both under his name? Meaning he could possibly host his own website(s) with the same funds that users paid for, whenever he wants. What a cheap way of stealing.

he took a 14 day/2week ban today. will be back on the 23rd unless he is closed for this.

Trust you of all people to bring that up.
And you really shouldn't be talking about reputation. How many fake reps have you given out? It's in the double figures at least.

There you go. Brilliant defence statement for Lookin. Fantastic logic.

Read your above statement. Why would he scam users out of <$200 and risk all of the time and money he has spent on the site?

Not quite sure why you think he would want to use the Consensus domain or webhost for a personal website. It's cheap enough as it is to host these days.
And why did you just throw a suggestion, then turn it into an allegation with your last sentence?
sigh Wish people could stay on the topic of the 'Fake Contest' and leave any previous drama out of it. Getting a little old seeing Lookin's name every day.
From what I was told by a third party, Lookin will be returning the funds when he gets back
People are very quick to judge. He is currently dealing with something very heavy in his personal life, let's give him a chance to recover and see how he deals with this once he's back.

Froggy I've been saying this on every thread like this. Everyone assumes ppl are exit scamming when shit happens things are more important than hf.

If it was someone else you "people" would bury him to death, just because its someone who owned a group, he gets benefits? He's obviously not dealing with anything that heavy, otherwise you would not have known it, if he has time to talk about allegated issues, he has time to sort this out as well. People are very dumb around here, not quick to judge, use some logic.

>Made 500k

If you cant see it, you're blind.
