Policy Question

Copyright?

I just noticed that unlike most webpages / sites there is no copyright reserved on pages/logo/user bars etc here.

Am I missing something? I did check the legal link and looked a bit. Just curious..
Cheers,

Posting because I'm curious about this shit too. Been wondering for a while. Just never thought to ask.
It doesn't matter. Don't copy the site, or the content.

I'm unsure of the laws overseas, but in New Zealand, anything a person creates is automatically copyrighted.

Yes, that's almost universal. However, it's generally accepted that you denote with a © so it is established that copyright is retained.
If its public domain, then no symbol is required.

Hence my question.

Any site caught copying Hack Forums gets dealt with it, pretty simple. It is weird that there's no copyright message at the bottom of the page though, I will admit.
Even aside from HF, any artwork created by someone is considered intellectual property and is eligible for a lawsuit.
Simplest answer. I don't need to add a copyright or trademark symbol to have ownership of the material or exert my legal standing.

And....it's just not a problem.
