Cryptix : Firewall Check

This is a simple project I created that allows system administrators and PC users to see and check if any programs on there system are accessing the internet.

It DOES NOT block or remove or edit programs/files on the system.

This program is simply a means to quickly check and see what programs on your system are making a active internet connection. It wont conflict with any other current running firewall programs.

This is a wise program to have running at times just to make sure no unwanted programs on your system are posting or getting data from the internet.

Maybe even a trojan/keylogger/bot has slipped past your own firewall and you dont know of it this program can help you to detect that.

UPDATED VERSION 1.1

Fixed the application to have administrative access rights to run which is needed to detect programs making a internet connection.
Fixed up the function used to loop through process's to check for programs connecting to the internet.
More accurate detecting is in place where as in version 1.0 it would sometimes if not always only show one program name in list.

This could actually be pretty handy, thanks!
Windowsbutton + write -> open resource monitor
Basically doing the same thing and you can see what ports are being listened to.

But nevertheless, good if your program is legit. I don't dare to download anything from HF members sadly.
Maybe someone else would have the time to debunk the program to check if there is anything malicious.

Or maybe post source of it? :)

True or you could even open command prompt and type
Code
netstat -nb

As I said this is just a quick and easy way to do it with no hassle and it auto checks for new processes trying to access the internet.

Sadly I don't care to give out the source code but feel free to run debuggers on it or run it through sandbox check it for inbound/outbound connections, All I can say its safe and valid.

If that's the case then nice of you 👍

Yea basically if you just want a quick and easy way to detect or make sure no un-wanted programs are accessing the internet or sending data to and from the internet, This is the tool for it. It doesn't block or remove such programs just lets you see what programs may have slipped past your own AV firewall or default firewall.

And as noted I updated it to version 1.1 as version 1.0 had a few small issues with displaying the tools.
It's one of the smooth! It's more reliable if you add function that specific program shown on your program, shows which IP that program connecting to.

I have updated to 1.2 and added this feature and the ability to block connection of detected programs making a internet connection and load there file path location.
