I've been rather inactive lately but I am here to post regarding my CTF team.
We currently have around 4 active members and take part in online CTF's (found on ctftime) and we are looking to expand.
We're currently competing in the UK National Cipher Challenge as well as signed up for the upcoming Kiwi CTF with Ethereum prizes. On the topic of prizes, if the team earns a prize then the winnings will be divided up based upon each members contribution to the CTF (number of points) so if you do nothing, you will not get given anything.
If you're looking to get started into CTF's we've just started posting write-ups that go through step-by-step how we solve solutions in challenges at: https://www.ipv4.cat/write-ups/
There are really no requirements other than competency and ideally previous experience in CTF's either solo or in a team - we will review applicants on a case-by-case basis and decide whether or not you will be a valuable asset.
If you are interested in joining then please send me a private message explaining your background in CTF's, your specialist category and we can go from there by assessing your ability.
If you have any questions about the team then post here and I'll happily answer them.

You're free to read our write-ups which are posted at the end of the CTF - however we cannot allow you to be in the team and simply follow our solutions as the CTF is live as you may leak the flags to other teams/use them for your own.

Yis! I quite enjoy CTFs, I'm just really dumb and am not very good at it. (Try the pentesting section of the forum, a lot of interest was shown last time there). (For recruitment)

IPv4 is a magnificent amassment of sapient individuals. It would be most infelicitous and certainly not convivial to miss out on such a stunning and unique opportunity such as participating in a CTF event with the prestigious IPv4.

Any cheeky chavs wanna get in on this supreme deal? Big CTF starting on the 13th, perfect time to get your dick in on this offer! Keep in mind that CTFs don't have large commitments attached to them, meaning that you can pop in at any time of the day and try a few challenges here and there (expect some of the harder challenges to take a few hours to complete, although again the challenges are non-binding. You can come back to an unfinished challenge later in the day or w/e). The more CTFs we do, the more our skills will enhance, until we eventually reach our goal of total CTF world supremacy!
