Hey Omni.
You keep talking about the upgrade. When are you planning to update?

To add to the idea of making a website that hosts people's threads, why not just host your own? It's not hard to get a free webhost and just upload an image to it. Each time you update the "thread", keep the image name the same and just replace the old one.
You'll always be able to edit your thread, and you won't have to worry about your threads disappearing because the site is down, as there are plenty of free sites that have lasted well over 5+ years, which are still up to this day. Another idea that works with this is that you can create a tool that creates images based on text you input, ultimately making it look almost identical to a thread being viewed, only in image format. Guides, marketplace threads, graphic design services, etc. Really not liking this change but I guess there wasn't much else on the table. Fucking idiots had to continue abusing. Now we have to deal with the limits. Honestly, a good idea would be to have your pending edit approval only for the marketplace. The section which is going to suffer the most from these edits are long lasting marketplace services. The services which have been running for months or even years. Hopefully this happens , It sucked when the junk feature got removed Why hate on the kid?

Looks cool. (Oct 20, 2017 05:51 AM)Mαxim Wrote: Don't think the system has been implemented, yet. Also, what browser is that? Looks cool. Oh, that explains everything. I was convinced the change was already done. Regarding my browser, it's the usual Firefox with this dark theme :) https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/ad...-deepdark/

Sorry but you cannot edit your post. The Administrator has set it so that posts can only be edited within 1296000 minutes of posting. 1296000 Minutes = 900 Days Instead of 90. I can see the issues some people have with this but I like the idea of hosting an image of thread content and just changing the image if you need to edit.
That being said I wonder how flexible these rules are and if Omni could change them easily? ie; Rekt/Uber can edit the first post of a thread indefinitely First posts of a thread can be edited if the thread receives x amount of activity Obviously replies don't need a long edit window but I would love to see options to help edit first posts. Until then I guess I'll be updating my important threads to image based ones.

No you are not, your account didn't even crossed 900 days since your registration. 🤭 (Oct 19, 2017 03:38 PM)Realizm Wrote: Is there a way you could make it so it's a cool down? Like where you can edit the thread again after 30 days for Ub3r, 40 for L33T, 50 for Regular? I see it working like the Reputation System, you can do a few edits once a thread is created, but once you reach a limit there is a cool down from then on. I'd say only 2 edits in case somebody screws up when making the thread. Not sure if this was seen, but is this a possibility? ![]() (Oct 20, 2017 06:02 AM)Realizm Wrote: Not sure if this was seen, but is this a possibility? Omni saw all posts and made this comment.
