Can I get banned for leaving my cannon somewhere and just autoclicking it?  Would this be considered botting?

Anything you don't do yourself - such as autoclicking - is considered botting.

There is risk involved but I would say it's pretty small depending on how long you plan on staying logged in for and how many levels you plan on doing it for.

It's considered botting, doing anything that isn't fully 'you' is bannable.
