The school's wifi is not a place for privacy. Every time a student logs into wifi, their device becomes recognizable. It doesn't matter if you change your MAC address or use a VPN, because the wifi login stops you from getting around the school's tracking. I can think of four ways around this:
1. social engineering someone's wifi login info (dangerous)
2. using the personal hotspot on an iPhone (easy)
3. get a cantenna and log into Starbucks from your dorm room (easy)
4. use the same cantenna to hack the neighbors' wifi and hack from there (not too dangerous)
Do any of these work? Obviously after that I need to change my MAC and use a VPN and Tor, but beyond that, any of these four things could easily work right?
Thanks.
Best,

I'm just saying because the school knows this works. They said if you can get Internet from another wifi, your good. And they also said that they arrest based on the UserID in their system, not the MAC address.
Simple as that.
If you use a personal hotspot on your phone, you can do all the web exploitation that you want.
What kind of school do you go to where they are telling you to hack at home? I wouldn't think any school would endorse hacking

They would say so long as you don't do it on the school's wifi, they aren't concerned since they can only regulate what's done on their wifi.
The same goes for torrenting, etc.
...Or you can use your data.

What do you mean? I think you mean a personal hotspot.

Yeah, just get a good phone plan and use your data as a hotspot. Or get one of those portable hotspot devices.
Don't do bad stuff on your school Wi-Fi, they track it! What are you trying to do?

I wasn't going to do it on my school's wifi. Did you even read the thread? Every single one of my solutions would be using another wifi besides my school's but from my dorm room. I just came up with other potentially getting internet from my dorm. Lol. By the way, at least one of them, the personal hotspot on my phone, I already know works.
im currently browsing hackforums on my school network
it doesnt harm them
people can't handle my honesty

Just use a VPN buddy they can’t track what you’re doing after.
Back when I was in HS I knew my friends log in, used it all the time... Not friends with him now so no regrets.

Wrong. At my school they can track it even if you have a spoofed MAC and IP. It requires login credentials to get onto the wifi network and the username is linked to a userID that they track.
