The First Ever Penis and Scrotum Transplant is a Rousing Success
For soldiers suffering hidden injury from IEDs returning home, this new procedure is a godsend. This same team at John Hopkins University School of Medicine was also the first in the United States to perform a bilateral arm transplant. The team also have a bright outlook for restoring additional function for the soldier, “We are hopeful that this transplant will help restore near-normal urinary and sexual functions for this young man,” says Andrew Lee M. D. The team in the operating room consisted of two urological surgeons as well as nine plastic surgeons for the fourteen hour procedure. While most other function may be able to be restored, such as urination, the soldier would still need a prosthetic to achieve an erection. >>Source

A Banned Ozone-Killing Chemical is Making a Comeback
Credit where credit is due, the Ozone layer has made a large recovery over the last three decades. However, one of these chemicals, banned from being produced by international treaty, has begun dissipating in the atmosphere much more slowly than it has in previous years. The chemical in question, known as CFC-11, was commonly found in aerosol cans as well as refrigerators before the ban came into place. The party violating this international treaty is still unknown at the time this article is published. Your Hack Forums News Team will be on the lookout for any further developments to this story. >>Source

Nigerian soldiers battle Boko Haram, kill 15, rescue 49 women, children
On 16 April 2018, Nigerian soldiers of the country’s army said 15 Boko Haram terrorists had been killed, along with rescuing 49 prisoners at a different time. Unfortunately, the Nigerian Army did lose officers; it was all in good faith. The troops “ambushed and killed four terrorists who were escaping from the military onslaught in Northern Borno.” Furthermore, a colonel in the army said troops engaged in further gunfights after seeing insurgents fleeing from Firgi and Moula. This incident has sparked a major operation to clear the Boko Haram “from the Lake Chad area, where the insurgents are still believed to have a foothold.” Though the insurgents have lost a large amount of land they once possessed in Northeast Nigeria, they still have options to launch attacks in Adamawa, Bono, and Yobe, primarily targeting civilians. >>Source

Saudi Arabia: Women’s Rights Advocates Arrested
From 15 May 2018 to 18 May 2018, Saudi authorities say that a total of “seven prominent women’s rights defenders” have been detained and arrested. The seven activists have been at the forefront at the advocation of ending “the ban on women driving and abolishing the discriminatory male guardianship system.” Authorities have yet to publicly state the reason for the arrests. This is a common result of women’s rights activists, seeing as Saudi authorities have continuously repressed protesters’ opinions and disbanded peaceful activities and marches in the past. Some activists in the past have received 10 to 15 years in prison, being criminally charged with accusations such as ‘breaking allegiance with the ruler,’ ‘sowing discord,’ ‘inciting public opinion,’ ‘setting up an unlicensed organization,’ and more. >>Source

PUBG On Xbox One Adds New Map For Everyone Soon
Xbox fans do not really get that much love when it comes to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. However, the tides will be changing soon as, Miramar, the second map released for PUBG will be coming to the Xbox. The map has been out for a while on the PC, and the PC players have had access to the upcoming third map, Savage. On May 24, Xbox players will be able to play on the new map free of charge. In addition to the map, there will be an update that comes with it that hopefully will improve some performance issues within the game in its current state. If you are unfamiliar with Miramar, it is a desert-like map in a Spanish country. Lastly, there is no information on whether or not the Xbox test servers will be getting the new Savage map. >>Source

Dragon Ball FighterZ's First Limited-Time Event Going On Now
Grinding for in-game cash in some games can be a hassle. When given the opportunity to grind, but have fun, well you better want to take up on that offer. Dragon Ball FighterZ is launching an event where you can have a party battle against Frieza. The event is available on all the platforms the game is on, so Xbox, PS4, and PC. The event will only last for a short while so you better not miss the opportunity. The system is a little weird, but it is easy to understand. Each time you battle Frieza and win you get points. The points count towards a global point system so that players all around the world can accumulate said points after beating Frieza. Think of it as a big lottery poll, and you and everyone around the world are purchasing tickets for a greater chance to win. However, instead of having to pay, you do not have to. Those who participate will gain coins and Zeni. >>Source

Fortnite: Solo Showdown Contest Underway For A Limited Time
We are all tired of the YouTube scams that are currently going on. The ones where everyone asks you to hit that like button or subscribe to have the chance to win some V-bucks. Most likely, no one will ever win those. This time, you have the chance to legitimately win some, but it will not be easy. Do you think you are the next Ninja? Or better yet, think you are far greater than Ninja himself? If you think you have what it takes to compete against him and other well-known streamers you can do so. Sort of. You are not exactly playing against these players but you are going to have to play competitively as they do. A Solo Showdown mode was introduced, and people on all different platforms have the chance to show they are the greatest Fortnite player. The first 50 matches that you join will be counted toward the showdown. You must complete the matches in order for them to count. That being said, each match will count in the long run, so you better bring your A-game. The person who comes in first place will get a whopping 50,000 V-bucks. Second place gets 25,000 which is also not bad, and the third and last place will >>Source

BanG Dream! Gets Season 2 and 3 for 2019
Next year, 2019, will be a wonderful year for anime fans that love BanG Dream! A key visual was released with the announcement that in 2019 a second and third season will be released for the anime. Jan. 2019 will be the official date of season 2. Oct. 2019 is when the third season will air. Is only a few months gap period a good time to perfect the third season? We will see! BanG Dream showcases four high school girls who start a band together because of one of the characters, Kasumi Toyama, dream. From there, they aim to be the very best in their local town and Japan in general. In addition to the official series itself, there will be a mini-series that will air on the official BanG Dream! YouTube channel. That will start airing this July. Not only will the mini-series be on YouTube, but those in Japan can watch it live on Tokyo MX. The second season will take place right after the events that occurred in season one. Perhaps that means we will have the chance to learn more about the other groups besides Poppin' Party. Toy'sworks Previews "Eromanga Sensei" Elf Yamada Lolita Clothes Ver. Figure
The two loli's that everyone loved in the Eromanga Sensei series will be getting awesome figures for fans to purchase. The girls Sagiri Izumi and Elf Yamada will showcase the girls in the attire that they mostly wore throughout the series. Elf will be wearing her cute lolita red dress, and Sagiri has, well, not a lot of clothing on. Yeah, the police will most likely storm your house after you click the "buy" button. Sagiri has nothing but a t-shirt on while she holds her laundry basket. Crunchyroll has some screenshots of the figures that you can see here. And yes, you can see Sagiri's pantsu you pervs. The price for them individually is 12,960 which estimates to around $117, and the size is around 230 mm-tall which is around 9 inches. These two beauties will be released this summer in July. >>Source

Elf Yamada Joins the Eromanga Sensei VR Pool Party
Another article about Eromanga Sensei series? Nani? Yeah, yeah, we will have a chat with Tsundere about this later, but for now, what better way to spend your summer than with the beautiful loli Elf Yamada? Of course, without the police knowing and her consent. Yeah, that was pretty cringy, sorry. Moving on, in January of this year, the Eromanga Sensei video game added Sagiri to the list of VR characters you can interact with. On May 24 you will be able to add Elf Yamada to that list too! If you are a fan of her, you will have the chance to play games with her on the beach. So, yeah, if you like little girls in swimsuits, this game is for you, pretty much. If you want to join in on a game of Twister you can. Why not, right? There are bonus features if you end up going to a gaming cafe that has a VR with the game setup. But would you really want to play this game in public? I guess some people do not have any care in the world. (Tsundere would probably attend.) >>Source

Otaku Coin Cryptocurrency Slated to Launch in Summer or Fall
New cryptocurrencies are not exactly a bad thing. But when you mix anime and cryptocurrency together, that might be a little too far. If you are a true weeb, then maybe the coin will have some luck. Taken from the Otaku Coin website, the creators who go by the Otaku Coin Preparation Committee (OCPC) are planning on releasing a new coin sometime this summer or fall. The coin was announced on May 9, and they have dubbed it "Otaku Coin." The creators of the coin have created this cryptocurrency in hopes to help fund projects, reduce currency fees or completely remove them, and to even reward its users who watch anime or buy anime related products.
