Back in the days, there were several of niche hacking forums competing for an audience. 2006-2009'ish.
Omniscient created this as an universal site where the whole audience could fit, and he beated every shitty niche forum there was. He did not do a great job, but a perfect job.
There's so many sites I could mention back forum 2006-2009, who closed due to Hackforums dominance for the audience.
And now he just wants to run a marketplace, and couldn't give a shit about the rest.
