After skimming through the thread about Root being the new group for Leet members to upgrade to, Ive seen a few posts in the thread from Ubers asking if they can upgrade to get the features that Root get.

What are the differences in the groups other than the award, userbar, and username color? Some people seem angry about it, I'm not really sure what I'm missing here?


Quick edit: I was looking through this list, and I don't really see a difference? https://hackforums.net/extras.php Why are people not happy that they can't upgrade if its basically the same?

Correct. With all these new updates/changes and the addition of r00t.
It's only a matter of time before new members that don't know anything about Ub3r
start asking about how to join the group.

Ub3r is no longer obtainable.
Current Ub3rs cannot upgrade to R00T
There is no feature difference (as of this writing 7-21-18) between Ub3r and R00T

So for those that didn't get a chance to get Ub3r or that where denied or perm denied Ub3r, now is your chance to gain Ub3r like features under the R00T banner.
