I'm pretty sure I've got a virus which closes down a page randomly as it targets specific pages and will close down my browser everytime I try to open it.
I have tried

Norton AntiVirus is a great paid anti-virus. You could also get the paid version of Malwarebytes :)
You asked for a free anti-malware and honestly, I think even the free version of Malwarebytes is really good. (Jul 22, 2018 03:46 PM)Τelevision Wrote: Norton AntiVirus is a great paid anti-virus. Could you provide the particular web page you're trying to visit and the name and version of your browser? It's pretty common for scripts included on some webpages to cause many browsers to crash.
Facebook causes Chrome on Windows 7 to lock up for me sometimes. I don't have the same issue with Chromium on Debian 10. If you think you have a virus, automated scans may not be your best option. Download something like Process Explorer and Autoruns and manually dig through registry entries and running processes for things that look out of the ordinary.
Did you tried with Adwcleaner or RogueKiller ?
