I'm working at possibly the biggest fuse company in Europe. I work as a Warehouse Worker in the finished product section, which means we get to ship out anything and everything that gets ordered. I've been working for about a year now as a student and as my student status expires at the end of this month, I've sent in my resume in hopes to get a job.

Not only did I get a job, but due to Staff Shortage on the Shift I work at, and with someone quitting, when I officially get employed by the company, I will be promoted to Assistant Shift Manager which is damn awesome!

Where do you guys work and what is your position?
I sometimes come around and poke a few threads before leaving for a few months again.
Bro that's honestly really neat. Especially with the risk of your student visa or whatever it is. I'm glad you were able to land something that quick. Hopefully in something you enjoy too.

I currently work as a Medicine Tech; so I spend some days laughing at the "know it alls" in the vices section.

Nah it's more like this;

If you're in school (Either paying or participating actively), you can work at a company without having to get employed by the actual company. We call it "Student Work". You get paid hourly. In return, you do not have any sick days or vacations, you take your own days off as you see fit. I was able to land it quick mostly because my Brother works in the Office of the very same Warehouse, so there's that.

I am a Volunteer Firefighter / Medic, so I have some knowledge on Medicine too!

That's super interesting. I was always intrugied on how that type of stuff worked. I always ee things like "Work" visas or "Student" visas; and never knew how they went about it. The sick days crap shouldn't be an issue if you aren't lazy; which I dont see you being. I've been with my current job for 2 years now; and i've never taken a sick or personal day. People are just bitches. I've came in with my hand sliced open for gods sake. Yea that's kinda how it was for me too. I didn't know much about my job; but my uncle is an investment banker for the type of stuff I do. So it helped. 👍

Congratulations buddy :)
I work at home and my position is a boss :D
I work at McDonalds. I'm only allowed to flip the burgers because last time I tried cooking fries I almost set fire to the bench.

I've had a few problems with my stomach as I've mentioned before, and even during that I went to work. The company is going to pay my forklift license that I'll need. To be honest though, my pay won't really go up with my new position.

I'd like to see that "boss" position upgraded to "god" by the end of the year ;).

Yea I get that. I'm just defiantly the type of person to show up anyday ever. I just find it funny when I see my coworkers calling off like one hour before, or not even bother showing up; and never get into any issues for it. But I get shit for not wearing my "scrub" bottoms at night shift.. 10pm-7am. Places truly do hold others to a higher standard I suppose.

Yeah, the second shift where I work at is shit, they never seem to do anything right and most of the work is never done and WE get into trouble for it. Like the fuck did we do?

I will be working hard for it.
Would let you know if it happens :P
Glad to see you get promoted! I work as a reservation manager for our hotel in the evening. On the weekend I work as a coffee specialist and on normal weekdays I'm doing my internship at a really big IT company. Probably have a burnout at 30 haha.
