[TUTORIAL] ENCRYPT YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER USING VERACRYPT

In today's tutorial I'm going to teach you how to do a FDE (Full Disk Encryption) using a program called VeraCrypt.

First step. Download and install the latest version of VeraCrypt from their official website.

Next step. Start VeraCrypt and head over to System -> Encrypt System Partion/Drive...

Once you come to the "Encryption Options" section it's time to choose the encryption method and Hash method.
I recommend the same encryption method as Edward Snowden which is Serpent(TwoFish(AES)).

Now it's time to enter a password. A STRONG password is the "key" when it comes to encryptions.

When you have entered a password press next and you shall see the next section which is "Collecting Random Data".
All you have to do here is move your mouse over the numbers/symbols until the green progress bar is filled to 100%.

Now you will have to create a rescue disk.

Finally we have to restart our computer. On the boot you should now see the VeraCrypt Boot Loader.

Once you are logged in, Vera Crypt will popup saying that it's okey to encrypt now so let's press "Encrypt".

Congratulations! You have now successfully encrypted your computer. Make sure to never share your encryption key!
I don't see lot of interested in tutorials like this. Would you like me to post a tutorial on setting up Whonix?

I'll think about that tutorial then. I'm kinda busy at the moment

Depends on a few things such as if your computer is running when they get their hands on it, how strong your password is etc etc.
