127.0.0.1 is what you use for testing locally, but if you want to test with a computer on a different network you are going to need to use a domain name.

I gotta do some brainstorming and figure out what kind of thread the section would most benefit from. I feel like even some people who want to learn don’t read our long tutorials. :/

Think the largest problem Remote Administration in general covers such a broad aspect of IT overall.
I mean to actually be really successful, you gotta know your operating system inside and out, pretty much, you gotta know your networking, you gotta know the basics to client server communications, and more aspects.

Usually in field training your taught ONE of these things, and then call to others who are specialized in the other area.
That being said, its not surprising at all people who try to dive in to RATs get fucking lost to the point they are like sad little puppies.

Its confusing as fuck.. Honestly speaking if I did not have the like 20+ years of IT experience, Id be fucking lost picking IM or Orcus up for the first time wandering here for the first time. This is WHY I took to the section and still try to help, I know how confusing it can be, I sit back even to this day with some tech problems and even gotta go "What the flying FUCK is happening here?!?!?" and Im certified to know whats up! LOL 😉 🤣

But to my central point, being what I said and how large and broad RATTing is, it might be more prudent to compile a mega thread of other tutorials covering each aspect.

Ive written others on port forwarding, TCP/IP Topologies and the OSI layers, which all tie together, but I've yet to get everything linked together for a central reference point....

I portforwarded and used canyouseeme and it was fine, flood me works fine, but when I run the client on my own pc nothing shows up on njRAT...  😟

Am I doing something wrong?
