No, don't even ask. If it's a zero post member you can wait till the account is pruned but don't ask us to delete an individual account for you. Even if it has one post from 2 years ago and they've never returned we will not delete the account just so you can have a username.

But it does not mention banned members. An account from 2 years ago may return back to the forum one day but permanently banned members can not.
So I think it would be great if we can able to use perma-banned member's usernames.

I really want a specific username but it is currently belongs to a banned member who last post is on 2012.

What makes you think that the quote from the Help Docs wouldn't include banned accounts?

Sorry I might have misunderstood it since I'm not a native English speaker. But it is still a suggestion though

I will disagree with your suggestion, let me explain you why.
- Member is banned? Maybe he will get unban.
- Member is permant banned? Maybe he wont recover.
That can make people to pretend they are that person who was banned/closed, maybe some people remember some of the nicks and if you take it, you can pretend to be that person.

If user has a last post from 2012 and have only 20 posts I don't think so it will affect my reputation here. It is the decision of mine, let me worry about it

No. As much as theres some sexy names I wish I had, I highly disagree with this suggestion. There's a reason that a user got banned. Theres a good amount of scammers who are known by their alias that they got banned with and they have get banned with that name. If someone else takes the username, people will think it's the scammer back on the forum.

This won't happen. The result would be users abusing the feature to impersonate others and more issues.
It's been suggested and denied in the past already.
