Video games help many with reflex therapy which will reduce your reaction times and benefit your hand-eye coordination.

As well as making you think in thought provoking games and strategy games.

Most only gain entertainment from games, but many also benefit greater from them, such as ourselves as I too reap these benefits.

I honestly don't think I could have said this in any better words than what you have. I benefit from games as well, as a way to deal with my semi-social anxiety and constant oncoming depression. Much has the dream of building my own gaming rig as well.

Well said. I benefited from strategy games too. It really just depends to the insight of who's playing and what the game you're playing.
