There is a 0.003 BTC payment but that is not from him.
Basically he wanted to do a currency exchange, his BTC to my PP.
I went first since it's PayPal and the guy has done 2 other deals here with no issues (although they were smaller).
So I send the $100 and it goes on HOLD by PayPal which happens. In these cases I typically tell them they can either send the BTC now or they can wait 24 hours for it to clear.
Then he wanted to do a $400 PayPal payment to another paypal address so we did, and it also went on hold, he refunded it right away.
https://hackforums.net/contracts.php?act...&cid=15088 - He refunded this payment as he could not "scam" it as it got on hold, and tried to use that refund to build trust to do an even bigger exchange which I declined multiple times as he kept insisting on it multiple times. This is when I knew he was a scammer but I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited.
48 hours go by and still no payment for that $100 PayPal I sent.
Today he claims that the payment cleared and he sent a CoinBase payment but as usual no payment.
I'm going to open a dispute, I'll win for sure, just making this thread so no one ever deals with him again.
I typically don't deal with users with unestablished accounts unless they go first but since it was a small amount and he had 2 completed contracts, I decided to take the chance.
Also I always use PM for conversation pertaining to a deal but he was a regular member and they have a time limit between PM's so we moved to discord.
