I find it hilarious how people act like big ballers on Hackforums.

Why are you justifying and giving excuses to why you can't buy the award? This is a cool thing to support an admin and you are not obliged to spend your money.

"Oh god, BTC went down so I can't buy it... maybe next month?" - If a $100-$300 is such a big deal to you, maybe you shouldn't spend your money on an award.

I think a xerotic patreon would be a really good idea and I'd happily donate like 5-10 bucks a month for it. I think plenty of others here would too and it'd be a steadier stream of income than this 1 time buy award.

- the cost of moving funds from your patrons to your creator balance. This fee can be viewed in your Dashboard and is listed as the "Processing Fees".

I'm definitely not in the minority as someone that doesn't use crypto and would prefer to pay via debit as someone outside of the US. I appreciate everything Xerotic does but I don't think many are willing (especially as people way outside of the US) to set up accounts on random apps to donate. I'd be happy if there was some medium in which I could easily direct debit money each month and patreon seems to be the most efficient solution for all members to do that.

The awards tiers and ease of access there makes it all quite straight forward, even if there are fees.

If he gets a stream of 500 pm on patreon and loses 70 bucks to it, taking home an extra 430 or whatever as opposed to something between 500-1000 depending on how this award sells seems preferable. He could also just have a BTC donation link posted in a seperate thread too for people that want to do that (although I don't think anyone wants much to do w/ crypto atm).

A code dev group like alliance or something with $20 PM buy ins would be a good idea too.
