I mentioned this a couple weeks ago when I removed a handful of donation awards.  I have now removed almost all donation awards with the exception of the Ace of Spades.

The awards removed:

DarkDash
Litecoinage
Emerald
Etherist
BTCash
Bitcoinage
Rich Bitch
Gift
Legalize It
Benefactor
Master Donator
Grand Amethyst

The awards added are:

50 Star
75 Star
100 Star
250 Star
500 Star
Heart of HF

You may be asking why?  Many of these awards have been on the site for years. Some of them for a decade.  I only allow each member to buy one of each of the donation awards.  I wanted to freshen up the donation page and just replacing one or two at a time didn't feel like really overhauling our donation awards.  With new awards I think this will entice newer members to differentiate themselves with the modern awards.  Part of having awards is showing off your profile.  I really hope you guys like the images I have chosen.

I know this will be asked.  Will the old donation awards be available in the Awards Market?  Possibly some day but no guarantees they will or when they will.  I also plan on rotating the donation awards more often now which should create a rarity for them and when/if they go to the award market that should increase their value to other members.

All the new donation awards should not be available for purchase on the regular donation page.

Will miss the diamonds, but it’ll be nice looking back 5 years from now and seeing the old donor awards.

Good choice for the heart in my opinion. :) I think people who dish that amount out usually have a heart for HF in some way.
